"Firstly it was great being able to park our car in their carpark for free. We had a warm welcome which was quick and easy. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a nice bed, bathroom, and a sea view. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of healthy options and the outdoor area was pleasant in the warm October sunshine. "

"Excellent hotel. I plan to return. I recommend it! The quality of the building is very good. The room we had (junior suite) was well laid out. The bathroom was very nice. Only downside was that it did not have a bathtub; it was a shower only. But it was a nice shower. There is a hot tub and sauna that is bookable. We did that and enjoyed it. The staff are very professional and nice. They speak fluent English. In particular, I want to give recognition to the hard working Diana in the restaurant. The breakfasts every day were very helpful. Plenty of options. We always ate a big breakfast to fuel our long days of Croatia exploration. There is a rooftop cafe! The only downside of this hotel is its location. It is fine and I have no problem with it. However, it is not "walkable" for some people. For me, no problem. We walked to Diocletian's Palace in about 20 -- 25 minutes. There are two short turns and then a main street takes you directly to the old part of the city. The advantage of the hotel location is also that it's easy to take a car into town or out of town. It's a ~$10 Uber ride to the ferry or Palace. It's also easy to get onto the road and towards places outside of Split, like the Fortress or onwards to Trogir, etc. Overall, I actually think the location is decent. One side of the hotel faces a busy road, so perhaps choose the other side if that's an issue for you. We faced the road but found it to be quiet at night. Overall, this was a very positive experience!"

"Even before our arrival, the communication and assistance from Skaline were excellent. The team helped facilitate the needs of our group without hesitation. Due to a delayed flight, we arrived later than expected, but clear instructions were provided, allowing us to access the building with ease. The rooms were beautifully decorated, each with its own unique design, and the bathrooms were spotless. A number of thoughtful amenities were provided for the duration of our stay. The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep, and the robes were a lovely touch. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, prepared daily by a friendly and accommodating chef who was always happy to help. The reception staff were an absolute delight, attentive, helpful with any requests, and even arranging a lovely birthday surprise for one of our guests. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay more enjoyable. Great location with a local supermarket next door, and leas than 10mins walk to the main area, harbour, palace, restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend Skaline and would happily stay here again."
