Room is ok, very small. Older dated small motel. Staff nice. They use old fashion keys. It is literally next to a jack in the box drive thru. Felt insecure and would not do that again.

First off the room was very clean. No bugs. Bed was very comfortable. I had a courtyard room which is recommended. It is gated and secure. Lots of tables and chairs in the courtyard. It is right next to a Jack In The Box restaurant which wasn’t busy and loud but I was here in January so not as much tourist traffic. You have to Park your car right next to it so there is safety concerns there so don’t leave valuables in your car, Only bad thing: NO hot water from sink or shower. Don’t like cold showers

Good location and value

Very good value as it is a short Uber ride or scooter ride from the Santa Monica Pier. The front desk attendant was very friendly and welcoming. Would stay here again on my next trip to Santa Monica/Venice Beach.

This is a very modest hotel, so do not expect pampering. However the price was good and the beds were comfortable and I slept well. I recommend it for budget conscious travelers who intend to be out all day and just using the room for sleeping.

It was a short stay and Rest Haven worked very good for it. Calm neighbourhood, clean room, walking distance to Santa Monica Pier. Manager lady was very welcoming, very helpful. I was satisfied with my stay there.
