Traveling with family and 20 month old toddler, property has been remodeled and is extremely clean! management is also really nice and friendly. Slept well and def would come back again. bathroom also has great lighting!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a really great stay at the Mayfair Inn in Ontario and was pleasantly surprised by how much value it offers. If you’re looking for a low-budget hotel that’s easy to pay for, clean, and straightforward, this place is exactly that. The booking process was simple, check-in was smooth, and everything felt easy from start to finish. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. Everything worked properly, which made the experience completely stress-free. There was some construction going on during my stay, but it wasn’t a bother at all and didn’t affect the comfort or quietness of the room. Overall, for the price, you really can’t ask for anything better. It delivers exactly what it promises: affordability, cleanliness, and convenience. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid, budget-friendly option in the Ontario area.

We stayed at Mayfair somewhat regularly last year, and I was very surprised and delighted that upon our return, all the desk clerks remembered us. Our stay at Mayfair is always a good experience, mostly because of the staff. They go out of their way to accommodate us and we greatly appreciate it.

The room was nice and clean, but what made it a very uncomfortable was the type of people that were there. They were loud and shady. Had a hard time sleeping was kept up most of the night because of the noiseI felt very insecure but as far as the rooms, they were nice and clean and very good condition and a working air conditioner.

Non smoking room is nice upstairs new mattress and nice clean covers and sheets but the tub just needed to be reglaze in the room I was in just basic TV channels other than that it was a great stay I would visit again

Its a great place for one maybe two nights if you’re out for work or need a quick reservation. Easy acces to the place and easy to check in. Do recommend better blankets. Other that, I can not complain for what I paid for.

the staff and room were nice and clean. my only issues would be that a car was towed and the pool was closed for repair. I know these aren't things directly involved with the inn but it lowered our experience a bit.

We ended up staying 5 nights at Mayfair Inn and other than the occasional train passing and repair work being done outside, it was quiet and peaceful. The room was a decent size, the bathroom was large and both were very clean. I think Mayfair's best assets are the employees. The people who work there are so nice, from the desk clerks to the cleaning crew. WiFi worked great also. I hope they make additional rooms available in the future, maybe with king sized beds (ours was a queen). I'll definitely be back!

The front desk people at Mayfair are very friendly and helpful. It's a bit deserted (no complaints), but I think they're renovating the property. There aren't any convenience stores or restaurants within walking distance so I just take Uber, as those places are only a couple miles away. Overall, I like it here 🙂.

big wins: $25 one time fee for early check in, no people or pet deposits, room had fridge, microwave, sheets and towels. I highly recommend this location. They seem to be in the middle of a rebranding? No matter what they were before, I'm loving what they do now. They have lots of rooms, will be hard to not find a room for yourself last minute

Not worth the money

The area was super sketcky, people peking in windows, riding their bikes on the second level, the front desk guy was nice and let us check in early, the room had splatters of something brownish on like every wall amd ths base boards were black with scuff marks and who knows what, we had a room with 2 beds and they didnf even put a bottom sheet on one of them. There were plaent of better hotels down the street, id reccomend going there instead

The staff members were very sweet and polite. My complaint is for the room. The shower, bathroom, and sink were dirty. There was a leak in the ceiling in my room. And since it was raining, part of my room was being flooded. I took the sheets and blanket off and noticed there were false lashes in the sheets and weren't really washed. And the headboard of the bed had splotches stained to it. For the price, it was a nice hotel. I just think i got the bad room.

A Strange Place To Stay

The room was very clean, but I had booked a room with a queen bed and our room only had a double. We were so tired we just accepted the smaller bed. They only have 10 rooms available throughout the property, even though there are still least 50 units, which affected our hot water. My wife had to take a cold shower the first day, as I found out that the boilers are on the other side of the hotel and we had to run the hot water for at least 30 minutes to get it warm. Other than those 2 issues, it was fairly quiet and our stay was uneventful. Also, the soda and vending machines were completely empty. There is no pool, but it looks like there's a large spa near the entrance. We didn't try it, but it looked clean.

A budget hotel so you shouldn't expect anything other than a basic room & less than a pleasant experience. When I arrived the first thing that I noticed were 3 abandoned SUVs in the hotel parking lot with cobwebs covering the flat tires. The receptionist was very nice & got me checked in quickly. After checking in I walked back to my car only find what looked like a crackhead in a car staring at me like I was a steak & watched me the whole time I was at my vehicle. Ten minutes of me walking into my room a loud disturbance was heard coming from outside & naturally I looked out my window to see what the commotion was about only to see 3 ghetto hood rats fighting in the parking lot while sadly enough their children cried as they looked on. After watching that circus unfold I decided to take a shower. The bathroom walls were absolutely filthy. It looked like a crime scene. The walls were covered with dirt & handprints. I'm not sure what happened in there & I'm not sure I wanna know either. The towels were stained except for one & they were so rough I could have used them to shave my face. The room itself was clean. It has a small refrigerator, TV, firm bed & ice cold AC. The pillows , blankets, & mattress were clean. As stiff as the bed was I slept very well until 2am when I was woken up to people arguing & a helicopter flying circles around the area. This was my first low end hotel and my last. * Note* There is an upside to this place. A 1p.m. check in and pets stay free. *
