Hotel very clean and very close to Santa Monica Pier. The bed was super comfy. Staff friendly gave us recommendations for meals and coupons for near by restaurants. They also provided us with a map of the area. Would stay here again.

No frills, but clean and well kept. Bed and pillows are hard, but I read the reviews and brought my own pillows and sleeping meds. Great staff. Expensive parking but it’s nice to know your car is being kept safe. Very well located for walking to restaurants and access to 3rd Street Promenade I’m very happy. Thank you Hotel Carmel!!

The staff was great. The pillows were uncomfortable, the shower head wasn't great (but the water pressure was good), there was no wifi for 2 out of 3 nights, the sheets and towels are dingy, and there is no fridge in the room
