Overall we enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very dated, but comfortable, great location and safe very helpful. Te accommodation was clean and very quiet. The sofa bed was not comfortable and my teenage kids complained it was not the best bed. I would recommend this place.

Great value considering location

Great location, enjoyed the big rooms, loves that windows all opened to enjoy the breeze, full kitchen was super nice for longer stay. Beds could use updating to newer more comfortable mattresses, and bathroom amenities were lacking, but otherwise a great value and comfortable stay!

Very clean and no bugs in room. Hot shower every day with very good water pressure. No AC in room but was okay with the overhead fans and oscillating fans. All of the staff were friendly. Plenty of parking for the guests. Our dishes were done by the cleaning staff every day. We had to buy some cooking utensils as the room didn’t have a spatula or cutting knives. Would definitely go back.

This is an apt. hotel with full kitchens. Rooms have TV. Outdoor area with pool and chairs, and lounge chairs also. Blocks to Santa Monica Beach, close to some restaurants, close to an Italian delicatessen which is very good. A nice area, close to PCH. Covered parking for a fee.

Property was a little tired looking, but very clean. Staff nice and polite. Towels changed daily, nice fluffy towels and lots of them. Both bathroom and kitchen could do with an update. Area around pool uneven and only steps to property, struggled getting cases into and out of the room and into the reception area.

We just returned from a wonderful stay at Cal Mar Suites and couldn’t be happier with the experience. As a family of four, we found it incredibly convenient—close to everything we needed and easy to get around. The suite was spotlessly clean, thoughtfully stocked, and had all the essentials to make us feel at home. The only minor surprise was that the photos had made it seem like one of the beds might be larger, but the suite had two double beds. Still, we made it work without any issues, and the overall comfort and convenience more than made up for it. Everyone we interacted with was so kind and accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We’re already looking forward to staying here again on our next trip!
