"Super helpful staff who went above and beyond - thank you for helping me with some urgent printing I needed and for hosting our wedding welcome drinks reception. The rooms are really cosy and the food is so tasty. Included made-to-order hot breakfast is an awesome perk."

"Everything about this place is FANTASTIC - the location, the staff, the rooms, etc. I wish that all the places I've stayed in as I've traveled around England were as nice as this place! Definitely worth a stay if you're going to Gloucester."

"I was in Cheltenham for a festival, so what mattered to me was a centrally-located hotel with car parking, decent bed & bathroom. All of which they have...along with friendly and helpful staff (always a bonus). The hotel was clean and quiet and provided a decent basic breakfast.
One point: car parking is limited, and would be challenging for anyone trying to put one of the big 4x4s so popular nowadays into one of the spaces."
"Very comfortable, with more individual design features than your average chain, and the Gloucester Indigo seemed very reasonably priced compared with some other cities. The staff are very helpful.
We hadn't booked to include breakfast at £17.50 each per night, but found that paying at reception before 11pm the previous night got us breakfast for £15, while it would be £20 on the day. It was decent value at £15.
Very convenient for rail and bus stations, and easily walkable to the cathedral and other places of interest. Check before booking that the museums etc will be open when you go."
"A fabulous hotel and well worth a stay! We made a last minute booking as a stop off on the motorway - it's about a mile from the M5 but you'd never know it. A beautiful old building and great amenities mean you don't either need or want to go elsewhere. A choice of a fine dining restaurant or the bistro-style Atrium meets all needs. Had it been better weather when we were there we would have loved sitting out on the beautiful terrace and enjoying the garden. I'm very very fussy about hotels and my only complaints were that our room was so far from reception and that the shower tray had a trace of limescale in it but I really am picking at small things as overall this hotel is excellent and great value for money."
"Much better than last time I stayed,
Not the best of hotels, but the that is reflected in the price you pay.
Mainenance is also quite poor with several light fittings in my room not working."
