Overall very good

It’s a perfect place for a short stay. It’s also very fair with a price. Adi was very welcoming and helpful. Room was tiny but like I said perfect for short stay. Location is amazing. I definitely would recommend this hotel.

We had a very pleasant stay, the staff are very friendly and helped us with any enquiries. The only problem was the comfort of the bed it was a little hard

August 2023..great stay in London

Stayed here in August 2023 for Two nights while in London to visit the theatre. Great location near Hyde Park and Bayswater high street which has all the usual shops & restaurants. 2 minutes walk from Queensway Underground which will get you into the heart of the city in 5 stops. The room was clean & comfy with enough space for are cases. No kettle or hairdryer though🙃. Adi on reception was helpful. Will book again when back in the big smoke.

Nice stay, thank you!

We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage at the hotel until check in. We had a large room with a double and single bed, which matched the photos. I think the double might have been a 3/4 double, but was v comfy! The room was clean and it was v quiet. 😊 The only downsides were that there were no hot drink facilities in our room, and the bathroom did have an unpleasant smell which i assume can't be helped!

The guy on reception was great, that’s where it ended. The room was shoddy, tv didn’t work, extremely basic, could do with a paint, the mattresses were absolutely terrible. Won’t be going back again

It totally basic. I was put in the basement where the tv signal was very poor, there was no ventilation as it was a summer hot day. The front desk customer service was very poor.

Great value accommodation.

I didnt catch the name of the host, but he allowed me to store my bag before check in and was still on shift in the afternoon, evening and the following morning when i checked out. He was very polite and informative and the room i shared with my brother and sister for our brief trip to London was perfectly clean and spacious enough for the three of us. Street noise was very minimal and although we saw plenty of people in the public areas, we didnt hear anything from the other rooms once we were in our room. Locationwise we were 5 minutes from a tube, but the bus line only 2 minutes away went straight through to Oxford street which was exactly what we needed.

Room is okay for one night!

Room was okay for one night! In a nice area and the man on reception was friendly and helpful. Room itself was small and could do with a refresh - there were marks covering all the walls and didn’t look like it had been deep cleaned. Room was also extremely warm with no air con so didn’t get a good nights sleep. Didn’t try the breakfast so can’t comment on that. Overall, I think there’s definite room for improvement but you get what you pay for!

Ok but not ok

Hotel itself was fine but the room we had was not good. It was nothing like the photos on the website it was scruffy, you could feel the springs in the matress. It was so hot we asked for a fan that was advertised but they did t have any. There was no breakfast which was on the website and no kettle in room. The sheets were clean and the man on reception was lovely really friendly. It was cheap rates so it’s what you pay for. Also the single bed was next to the window with no barrier so a child could of fallen out it was really dangerous.

Arnaque....fuyez !

Le site Hotels.com nous proposait un paiement sur place sans frais que ja pris. Une fois arrivée à l'hôtel, le réceptionniste nous a dit que notre réservation avait ete supprimé, et que nous avions du recevoir un mail ( biensur jamais envoyé puisque jamais supprimé par Hotels.com !) Il nous a donné un numéro anglais de plateforme à contacter. Au bout de 2h dattente d'un service à l'autre nous avons eu enfin qqun en français. Elle nous a expliqué que l'hôtel avait voulu forcer le paiement avant notre arrivée avec l'emprunte de CB ce qui avait du supprimer la réservation. Soit on restait dans l'hôtel ( qui comme par hasard avait une chambre pour 3 de libre ) soit Hotels.com nous relogeait ailleurs. L'arnaque est aussi au niveau du prix payé : 2600 livres pour 4 nuits au lieu de 535 livres ! J'espère qu'hotels.com tiendra ses engagements de nous rembourser la différence! Si pour ce prix exorbitant nous avions eu le standing correspondant, non ! Fenetre qui ne fermait pas correctement, pas de climatisation, un soir plus d'eau chaude ...rideaux sales, rien pour poser quoique ce soit dans la salle de bain ...senteur d'égouts, une VMC defectueuse ....

Hôtel vieillot très bruyant .tres surprise pas de quoi accrocher les serviettes de toilette, les lumières de chevet ainsi que celle du miroir de la salle de bain ne fonctionnaient pas et en plus de tout ça on me demande à l arrivée 20 livres sterling comme je ne pouvais payer quand carte bleue c est pas à 24 pour soit disant des frais de taxe ,je montre ma facture le lendemain , sur celle ci il est bien noté et les taxes sont comprises et là on me dit que comme nous sommes arrivés après 12 h il y a des frais pour le déplacement du portier , honteux, de plus qu ils étaient prévenus et que ça ne posait pas de problèmes

Do not book this property unless you want to arrive and be told it’s cancelled. You will then get made to pay a higher rate or you will be left with nowhere to stay that night. You will then be denied a refund for any form of compensation from the hotel even though they cancelled without telling us.
