We loved our stay at the Royal Forest! The room was decorated very nicely and clean. The little touches worth the tea/coffee set-up. All of the staff was lovely! The breakfast was a nice touch. We would stay again!

Really nice decor, lovely touches (treats, handwritten note, radio on) plus very attentive and helpful staff.
Great building lovely warm, welcoming pub, great selection of drinks. Food good but not outstanding but all perfect for those wishing to enjoy walks in Epping Forest as we were.

Perfect stop - great food
Super place for a night before heading into London for a job. I reall surprise. Rooms are well appointed and well executed - staff super friendly and food very good. Such a welcome change from the normal outer London hotel. I hope the high standards continue. Also such a beautiful building - steeped in history.

Great room, lovely food and setting
A second time at the hotel and first with the pooch. Had a wonderful stay in a lovely and spacious room. I think we had kindly been upgraded to a Luxe room on the ground floor. Waiting for the dog was a comfy bed, bowls and Bramley treats. Lovely amenities in the hotel and perfect for drinks, dinner and a lovely breakfast. Thank you

Great Hotel
This is an excellent hotel which has been newly refurbished beautifully. Rooms are extremely comfortable, quiet and well equipped. The delicious welcome treats and personalised card in the room are a lovely touch. Hotel is in a great location for long walks in the forest or to visit the local shops/restaurants. We didn’t eat at the hotel on this occasion but plan on doing so in the future as dining area looks very inviting. We will be using this hotel on a regular basis as we have family and friends nearby.

Best dog friendly hotel
Most amazing experience, super dog friendly and staff are very welcoming and was very nice and welcoming to my dog. They had a dog menu at the pub which was really nice. The room was so beautiful I wanted to stay longer. The bathroom design is so unique loved it very much. Definitely coming back soon. I had a welcome card and some treats on the desk for me and had a dog package with a really nice shampoo and some dog treats along with a bed and feeding bowls already in the room before I came which made my experience much easier. The air conditioning was one of my favourite things.
