Great hotel, allowed us to check in at 12pm so we could leave our bags in the room. Location is fantastic, literally next door to the underground station, lots of options for shops and restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again if we return to London.

The room we had, had 0 space, not even a little table, hardly any space to walk around the bed! Next to the bed there was a chair instead of bedside table which wasnt practical at all! The plug and the light switch were hidden behind the headboard of the bed which didnt make any sense at all! once we moved the bed slightly to have access to it, we have discovered a lot of dirt including someones tablets on the floor which was a bit disgusting and gross! We have also discovered there is no tea or coffee in the room, had to go all the way down to the lounge 3 floors down to get it and there was no basic coffee in the lounge either which you would expect to have at least for the money you paid! There is no such a thing as a secure storage facility which was also a let down, so our suitcases had to stay unattended in the lounge and not secured (we looked at options for storage lockers at the trainstation but it wasnt an option for us so we had no choice)Overall experience was disappointing and less than average for the money you pay for such a room unfortunately and we will not be coming back at this rate. We truly believe the room we stayed at was extremely overpriced for what we got and we are experienced couple in travelling and staying at different places, this unfortunately was a let down :( we would struggle to recommend it. The only plus side of this place i can say is its right next to the tube station so if you don't care about any of the above, go for it! Ana and Phil

Great hotel, perfect Location
Had a fantastic couple of nights stay. Perfect as we went to a concert at the KoKo the first night. Literally a few minutes walk from the hotel. Camden is great for shopping and food. Lovely hotel. Good communication from owners about check in etc. Very clean room. Would definitely stay again.

Ideally located but too noisy, had to sleep with the window open as room was very small and hot and couldn't sleep due to the noise, overpriced for what it was.

The property is in need of some TLC. The room is tiny having to walk sideways round the bed. The room looked tired and the carpet was really grubby. Would I stay here again? No!

Room 2 is at the front of the property in the basement. It was extremely noisy, we has a very bad sleep. Other than the noise the hotel was in good order. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again due to sleep deprivation.

Staff extremely accommodating and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Right next to the tube to boot, and walking distance to Camden market.

Small room but it is fine if you have limited luggage. The bathroom had a good hot shower.The bed was comfortable & the sheets fresh & clean. No coffee but tea is available to make yourself in the lounge on the ground floor. Snacks (biscuits), water, shampoo & shower gel were provided. Our room was on the 3rd floor which was fine for us but there are stairs & no lift to get to the rooms so you might want to bear that in mind before booking. The best thing about the hotel is that it is almost next door to Mornington Crescent tube so if you are visiting Camden, Kentish Town or the West End it has an unbeatable location.

Thanks a lot for the wonderful and very mindful staff, they really made a difference! The room was tiny, tidy and cozy. Lovely and neat kitchen with a balcony. Close to subway, a bit noisy outside, but the sound-proof windows and walls made you feel at home! The bathroom was immaculate! Thanks a lot for your hospitality!

Went there for a concert - couldn't be any closer to Mornington Crescent tube station. The only down side was the street noise but earplugs were provided & apart from emergency sirens all was good.

The room was small, charming and basic, the bed comfortable. Our encounters with the staff were favourable. The neighbourhood was a little noisy and rough. Right next to subway which was convenient.

Disappointing and dirty
Whilst the location of the hotel was good the room was terrible. The walls, carpet and couch were dirty and stained. The room was on the bottom floor on the road, so it was incredibly noisey. I landed up leaving and finding another hotel for the night. I notified the hotel via text as it was self checkin. The response was a mix of suprise, excuse and an offer to help with the issues. However by this point i had already checked into another hotel. They said they would inform the hotel owner. To date, that is the last communication i received.

No toilet roll holder, shower didn’t work, only 3 pillows for 2 of us, could hear the underground underneath us, bus station right outside was noisy, right near front door that kept slamming, windows didn’t lock, no curtains and shutters you could see through so had to put a blanket up

The shower is in perfect working order, you could have asked for more pillows and the shutters in your room did shut and lock. We actually upgraded you and did as much as we could to satisfy you as we do all of our guests. We take this feedback on board but you achieved an excellent price for a nice, clean room in a super location.

Nice room - good location right beside a tube stop on the northern line and 15 mins walk from Kings Cross. Check-in/out was super easy, my key was on the bed waiting for me.

We were in town for one night to watch a gig. We had a decent sized en suite room at a reasonable price. It is right next to the tube station and we found some Just Park parking 5 minutes walk away. Check in is done by text the day before and you are given all the info you need. It doesn't have a bar or restaurant so they have a communal area with tea and coffee that you can help yourself to. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes a short walk away. We will def book again

Staff were friendly and accomodating. Proximity to tube station has pro and con- its great for getting around the city without having to be in a more central(expensive) hotel, but you can hear the train coming and going and that can make it difficult for some to fall asleep. We were staing downstairs, upstairs rooms may be a different experience.

The room itself was ok. Decent albeit small bed. Room was clean. Fan didn’t work. No cold water from tap. No one there to check in. Had to call the number in the door. Girl who answered didn’t know anything. Then got a text telling us which room we were in and key was on bed. 2 flights of narrow stairs is not the best with 4 suitcases! Communal area wasn’t very clean. Carpets dirty. No drink facilities in the room, only in the communal lounge. No safe space to leave luggage after check in. Were advised (by text) we could leave them in the lounge. Wouldn’t stay again

We we emailed the reservation confirmation via email but not the confirmation details with door code and room number. We couldn’t get in. The cleaner saw us and let us in ( 38 degrees outside)She phoned a manager who wasn’t on site we had to wait for her to turn up and we had to repeat our details 4 times overall. She finally realised there had been a cancelation hence the mix up ( not ours theirs). Then she said we would have to wait for our room to be cleaned. I said we were meant to have access to the room an hour ago. You make sure it’s cleaned asap. She then instructed the cleaner to make a start on it ! She (the manager) said you can use our facilities while you wait. I thought of course we can we e paid for it. We didn’t however as the fridge door had been left open in extreme heat and goodness knows the state of the milk. Overall not acceptable. The cleaner was really pleasant and as helpful as she could be. Manager needs to lift her game.

we try and make all the rooms ready. by 2pm but sometimes the previous guest leaves late. unlike many hotels, ours is fully air conditioned, so luckily you were able to wait away from the outside heat

Calling it boutique is a misnomer. Windows were filthy, shared kitchen for tea and coffee wasn’t well stocked. Manager not there when we checked in, and it wasn’t easy to do so. Good things: convenient to an underground station, housekeeping was good, when we finally met the manager she was very accommodating.

Wouldn’t stay again
It was pretty clean, but it was a really noisy street and there were empty mini gas canisters all over the steps in the morning. Not the best area. Also there were no staff there and no lift (which I found really tricky when carrying my large suitcase up 4 floors)
