I booked this hotel on the 10 March for the 12th after reading info on Hotels .com and its own website. Both stated parking available and its own stated parking outside the hotel. This is not true - there is a bus stop outside the hotel! I stressed in my booking that parking was needed and for info be sent as necessary. I had seen a previous review that no staff were available in the hotel overnight but this was refuted by the hotel so I assumed a misunderstanding had arisen. I also checked info on the website that stated reception was open till 11 pm. Again - in my booking I explained that I was arriving on the evening of the 12th. I received an email from the hotel asking what time I was arriving and responded, explaining - depending on road conditions (travelling long distance) hoping by 8pm. During my journey into London the hotel phoned asking about my ETA. Thankfully these calls were taken by my husband, including a text about self-check in as they were closing the reception at 8 pm. There was no staff cover in the hotel overnight, only mob nos to contact if support was needed. The room was comfortable and clean. There was bottled water, but no hot drinks facility in the room - these were several flights of stairs away in reception. Not great after difficulty finding the hotel - no easily visible sign at night - no parking outside the hotel, no security staff overnight & when I left the following morning, the exit was not fully closed. Not the best experience!
