Overall, I was extremely disappointed with this apartment. The photos are old and it is in very bad shape. The carpet was disgusting, bathroom had mold and every wall and baseboard was scuffed and chipped. The sheets, towels and kitchen were clean. This apartment needs some serious maintenance. The communication was good, location was good, laundry machine was good, but was really disappointed with the state of the place.

A great price for the location in London. Within walking distance to many local attractions. Make sure you know what the weather will be, there happened to be an unusual heatwave while we were there. Sunny and in the 90's. The appartment does not have air conditioning, so it got a little warm. The fans provided worked well and were able to cool things down nice in the evening with the windows open. The host is very good in communicating during your stay.

The site photos misleading: Actual sofa not pictured; instead a large, old sofabedBroken window latches in living room allow entry of street noise and draftCarpet badly worn and stained; told that just professionally cleanedCook-top didn’t work; no instruction manual; no backsplash or tiling so wall dirty and stained Nearly all baseboards dirty, chipped and in need of paintSeveral electrical outlets pulled away from the wall completely; fire hazard?Window sill behind the kitchen sink dirty, covered in old, chipped paint and possibly black mold; bedroom window sill appeared sanded but not paintedBare lightbulbs hang in the bedroom and bathroomThe fridge freezer(?) heavily iced; needs defrostingMicrowave door handle broken; no kitchen sink stopper, teatowel or potholderThe bathroom soap dish caked with dried soapDouble bed mattress very soft foam pushed against wall so bedding cannot properly cover the person sleeping on that side of the bedEntry door deadbolt non-functioning and security chain missingKitchen vinyl chair coverings disintegratingHall closets unfinished, dark, and dustyWash machine door sticks so must be forced to open and closePublic areas of the building grubbyPositive notes: location noisy but convenient; clean decent towels sheets
