Quick and honest contractor review

Hotel is family run and is lovely. Rooms are clean, modern and fresh. The room we had had a fridge and under floor heating. The garden area is pefect for the summer and allows you to escape your room for some fresh air and to sit in the sun with a drink. Brrakfast is also nice and made fresh. The hotel is a 5 mib walk from town which has every thing you need.

Good choice near London

Overall good stay. The manager is super friendly and very keen to help whenever she can. Room could be a bit bigger and walls a bit better on sound dampening, but this is complaining on a high level.

Nice small hotel

Nice family run hotel in Romford. The staff are nice and friendly and offered me an umbrella due to the rain and also offered me a upgrade on my room because I was there on business so could use a table for my laptop. The breakfast is excellent and the room was nice and quiet - I couldn't fault my stay. And free parking.

Typisches englisches Standardhotel, offenbar im Moment einigen Renovierungen/Verbesserungen unterworfen. Im Garten wurde gerade eine Erweiterung gebaut (Nicht störend für Gäste), in unserem Zimmer gab es ein neues Badezimmer. Check-in ohne Probleme bereits um 12 statt 14 Uhr. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, leckers full English Breakfast mit einigen Auswahloptionen. Hotel wird wohl gern von Handwerkern genutzt, wie der Parkplatz zeigt. Wir haben Freunde besucht und werden gern wieder im Mawney Hotel buchen, wenn wir wieder nach Romford kommen. Für London Besucher: Keine 10 Minuten zum Bahnhof mit direkter Verbindung in die City!

Saved my day!

It was a very last minute booking as I realised my original booking was done for wrong dates at Moxy in Stratford and they did not have any rooms for the actual dates I wanted to stay. I raised this issue with Expedia who helped me to find this lovely little place, THE MAWNEY HOTEL. The person who runs this place Danielle is a lovely lady always with a pleasing smile. They have a warm social area with a bar. Free car park and wi-fi. Quiet area. Have shops very close by too and a good pub just 2 minutes walk.
