Top London Hotel Reviews

Strand Palace Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Chose this hotel because it is centrally located in the city close to most of the main tourist attractions and the theatre district. All within easy walking distance. Booked a Superior Single room and was pleased with the size of the room.Discovered that there is no set floor plan with these rooms when seeing my friend's room. Getting to the room was a challenge as the floors are like a rabbit's warren with multiple hallways and the numbering scheme has no logic to it. There is an electronic map at the elevator which shows where your room is and shows you how to get to it. The room has the usual ammenities, iron, hair dryer, kettle, coffee maker, & safe. A complimentary re-usable water bottle was provided and each floor had water stations in the hallways and at the elevators. There is no bathroom door which depending on the room layout, could mean you were looking straight into it when you were in bed. Usual toiletries are also provided. Daily housekeeping is provided but if you choose the "green" option, you were given a voucher for $7 off the breakfast buffet and your room would only be cleaned every 4 days. The breakfast buffet available had a good variety of hot & cold items. If bought the night before it was $15 or $20 if paid at the door. Checked out to take a short trip to Edinburgh and was able to store my large suitcase while I was away seeing as I was returning here for my last 2 nights in London before flying home. Very pleased, would recommend."

Radisson Blu Hotel, London South Kensington
10/10 Excellent
"The Radisson Blu is a conveniently located hotel in South Kensington. It’s steps away from a tube station and a few blocks from Hyde Park. The hotel is what you would expect from a Radisson with big, clean rooms with king sized beds with a great bar and breakfast areas. The property has charm as it is in a heritage building that matches the neighborhood aesthetic."

"Need update mattress. Other than that had a wonderful time. Good breakfast included"

Sofitel London Heathrow
10/10 Excellent
"This place is incredibly convenient if you need a quick place to stay. As soon as you deplane, catch the train to T5, and take the lift to the ground floor of the terminal and follow the signs. If you need a car, the SIXT station is also available. Upon entry, there were multiple desks to check in, which is great if you are exhausted. There were several restaurants to eat from. From there, the rooms were so nicely renovated. It was such a great experience. I had a luxury room which included a minibar for free. It was nicely stocked and cold. The bathroom was nice as well. Spacious and the tub was clean. I took the most lovely bath which practically had me unconscious within minutes, lol. The staff were friendly and as mentioned, it’s incredibly convenient. I fully intend to stay there again."

The Tower Hotel, by Thistle
8/10 Good
"Don’t go when it’s hot. No A/C. There’s control on the wall that was useless. I complained to staff and was told they were not hooked up 91degrees inside the room at night. Also , the place is undergoing renovations, so expect a lot of noise"

Royal National Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Decent triple room. Clean hotel, very big over 1000 rooms. Price good, breakfast good . Nice pub on site."

President Hotel
6/10 Okay
"Room is small no space to keep the luggage. No body lotion found. Found dust around door corne. The shower area is quite small. Water leaks out of the shower area due to an inadequate shower screen. There is no power outlet near the bed for charging mobile devices. Overall experience is not that bad for couple of nights not great but ok."

Holiday Inn Express London Heathrow T4 by IHG
8/10 Good
"The staff were great. We got an early check-in that avoided a long wait in the lobby. The bed was very comfortable. The TV, like every TV in every hotel we’ve stayed in, in England, had crap channel selections. The shower had an excellent non slip floor but the detachable wand wouldn’t move up or down so it was very short for me at 6’ tall. The pressure was also mediocre. The fast food restaurant pizza tasted like cardboard but the draft beer was good. The breakfast, like breakfast at every hotel we stayed at in England was mediocre and the coffee was the worst of all of our five hotel stays."
