Convenient location. Only 3 mins walk from London Paddington station. Was pleasantly surprised to discover coin-operated laundry services was available at a relatively low cost. Only slight negative was the walls were a little thin & I could hear housekeeping when they are cleaning other rooms

Excellent value

Brilliant apartment all fitted out with kitchen and loads of condiments with the tea and coffee the room compared to most of the others i’ve stayed at for the same value is spacous with 2 double beds and a excellent barroom with great shower pressure.Check in is all via email but all works smoothly Great location only mins away from Paddington Station.

The room was really nice and comfortable. Lots of soaps, towels, water,tea and coffee. Really enjoyed our stay. Had a bit of an issue entering the property as the link in the emai hadn't worked but had a prompt response and visit from the owners to ensure we got in soon after. Some of the immediate street areas were a little dirty but generally a nice, convenient area and would definitely visit again and recommend.

Great location and nice place

We found the unit with no problem from the station. The building has an elevator which we needed. Easy to get in with emailed code when the unit is ready. Nice size for three people. Convenient to slot of restaurant/bars, shops and transportation. Note: if you want a wash rag they are not supplied. Very happy we will stay again.

I booked the paddington hotel but ended up in Hyde park. We were on the ground floor which is on floor below the street level. There is no lift for below street level. The place is clean and convenient and service staff were friendly and helpful when around.

The place looks exactly like the photos and is in a great location, just a few minutes’ walk from Paddington Station. However, some sections of the apartment were not properly cleaned, so I had to spend time cleaning up before settling in. The building did offer to send someone to clean, but since I arrived late, it could only be arranged the next morning, which was no longer useful. Additionally, my unit was located in the basement with no elevator access, meaning I had to carry my bags down a long flight of stairs. It would be helpful if the listing clearly mentioned that this is a lower ground apartment so future guests know what to expect.

Paddington apartments upgraded us to a family room instead of a studio apartment, which was nice. The only thing is that the family room is located in the basement, not a big problem in itself as there is a window to outside that can be opened for fresh London air, but the steep staircase going down was a challenge. I’m 70 and had to carry our heavy suitcases down. Reception was so kind as to help us to carry them back up when we checked out. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Salisbury supermarket is only 15 minutes walk away. Hyde park is very close.

We had apartment 4 which is right at the front and first apartment you come to. You can hear when everyone is coming and going, the main door is very loud. The tv in the room barely worked and the water heater on the wall in the bathroom burned my upper arm abit twice while I was getting ready. However, it’s in a wonderful location, only one train to airport and train station is right around the corner.. so close. We walked through Hyde Park to Harrods from the apartment. It was a beautiful walk. Be careful at the near by restaurants, someone pretending to sell flowers stole my phone. Which cost me a lot of money. Never leave your phone out for even 2 seconds.

As most reviews have stated the apartments are in a good location and decent enough but in desperate need of a refresh /update. Our bathroom /air con leaked and furniture was chipped /scuffed. Had a total of 3 hangers for 2 people for a 5 day stay. Not soundproof at all, we complained about noise after 3 days. However, close to station and plenty of places to eat/drink in walking distance as well as in room stove/microwave to cook yourselves. Staff were friendly and respectful everytime we saw them.

Cute little units with all the amenities I was looking for: 2-burner cooker, fridge, kettle ... We were on the ground floor for both our stays. The first looked onto the street, which was lovely. The other had two windows, both into a 6x6-foot "courtyard" bounded on all sides by other units. I did wonder what I would do if there were a fire that made the door unusable. Also, it's a very quiet area but all the doors in the building seem to slam shut, so when people arrived or left in the middle of the night, we definitely knew. I'd still highly recommend it and would stay there again.

Great Apartment and Location in London

Had stayed at Paddington Apartments on a previous visit to London and there has been one major improvement (to an already good venue) since then. The electronic check-in/key eliminates the need to trek over to their main office to check in and get a key, saving a lot of time. We had a minor issue with the smoke alarm in our room beeping due to a dying battery. We contacted the office and by the time we got back to the room that evening, it had been repaired, which was much appreciated. The room was small, but had the essentials - three beds, efficiency kitchen and complimentary bottles of water. Great location near Paddington Station and plenty of pubs within walking distance, as well as a short walk to Hyde Park. I'd stay here again.

Annoying wifi and dodgy laundry

Wifi was awful. Speeds were ok, but it would often disconnect for 5-10 seconds. Fine for browsing and emails, but taking a call or virtual meeting was very irritating. Booked because it had laundry facilities, but no washing powder was provided and the dryer has a big red sticker which says "DO NOT USE! THIS APPLIANCE IS UNSAFE". Room itself was fine. Decent size and clean, but a bit tired and in need of a refresh.

First, the best things about this property: 1) Location 2) Elevator 3) Coffee and tea supplies 4) Shampoo and soaps provided. Second, the bad things about this property: 1) There’s no front desk, so there’s nowhere to leave luggage while you explore 2) The beds are old. The double bed crunched like an old beanbag chair and one aide dipped terribly. The single was lumpy. The fold down couch creaked. 3) We asked for a travel crib three times and it wasn’t included. 4) When traveling with small children, beware, the cutlery is in a bottom and easily accessible drawer. 5) You can hear everything the neighbours above and below you are doing. 6) If you’re a small person, the shower is okay. If you’re on the larger side, you’ll barely be able to turn around. 7) There is a glass table with terribly sharp edges, not kid friendly. 8) There were piles of bedding on the landings between floors on the landings and outside the rooms. All in all, if you are looking for somewhere close to Paddington for a short term stay, it’ll do.

Studio au calme Paddington

Très bien situé, au calme, à proximité des transports. Chambre fonctionnelle, cuisine bien équipée. Bonne communication avant l'arrivée, nous avons cependant eu du mal à trouver notre appartement qui n'était pas accessible par l'ascenseur (lower level), mais nous avons pu joindre facilement quelqu'un pour nous guider. Bon rapport qualité/prix, je recommande.

Aircondition virket ikke. Klagde og vi fikk byttet rom. Men der virket heller ikke Aircondition. Ga derfor opp, siden vi kun hadde et par dager igjen. Men det ødela oppholdet noe siden det var fyktelig varmt på natten. Rommene trenger nok oppgradering. Det var løse føiser på badet og flere sprekker. Sluket på vasken til badet var også nesten tett. Det rant nesten ikke vann igjennom. Men de var raske på å svare når det var noe og prøvde å være behjelpelige. Men for oss med en baby på tur så var det altfor varmt

Good stay

The check-in process is a pain. You have to go to a different hotel (about an 8 euro taxi ride each way). But, the room was very comfortable and spacious. Used the laundry machines and they worked fine but took forever (bring about 6 pounds per load based on our experience). Good neighborhood. Walked to the Thai restaurant nearby and it was quite good. Would stay again
