About this property
New! Elegant Top floor flat in Bloomsbury, minutes from the British Museum.
Handel Street is in the heart of Bloomsbury, one of London’s most beautiful districts. The apartment sits on the third floor (US 4th floor) and benefits from vaulted ceilings throughout. A small hallway leads into the living room, with vintage and contemporary furniture. A fold out table seats four people. A 64 inch Sony Bravia Television has AmazonPrime, Disney+ and Netflix for you to enjoy after a busy day of sightseeing! The kitchen has a white Corian worktop, fridge, dishwasher, combined microwave and oven and induction hob. There is also a toaster, kettle and Nespresso machine. As the apartment is the main residence of the host there is plentiful crockery, and pots and pans of all sorts. The spacious bedroom benefits from a comfortable King size bed and lots of storage. The office can be transformed into a bedroom with a double Murphy bed, meaning four guests can be accommodated without people needing to sleep in the living room. The washing machine is located in this room. The Bathroom is fully tiled with a spacious walk in shower and complimentary toiletries.
The apartment couldn’t be more central, but is in a quiet tree lined street with very little through traffic. The world renowned British Museum is a ten minute walk away, and Covent Garden a twenty five minute stroll. Russell Square underground is four minutes walk away with travel to Piccadilly Circus in ten minutes. St Pancras is a 10 minutes walk away with regular Eurostar trains to Paris Brussels and Amsterdam. The luxury supermarket Waitrose is on the same street as the apartment and leads to the Brunswick Centre with shops and eateries and the celebrated Curzon cinema. The surrounding streets boast artisan cafes and restaurants.
To the right of the building is a small secluded public garden where you can grab some time in the sun!
NB The apartment is on the corner third floor (US fourth floor ) with the final set of stairs a little steeper. Therefore the apartment is not recommended for those with mobility issues. There is no lift.

9-night stay with my teenage son--we had a great experience. Location was perfect (lots of restaurants, shops and landmarks within walking distance, and two major tube stations close by). Street was quiet despite being in the middle of so much. Apartment stayed cool and breezy even with unseasonably hot temps. Spacious and bright, plenty of room for an extended stay. Listing is accurate. Christian was an excellent, accommodating host. Would recommend this spot to family and friends.
We had a lovely stay at this two-bedroom, one-bath apartment! The location was fantastic—just half a block from the local Waitrose and a beautiful community park, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. It was also an easy walk to local pubs, bakeries, coffee shops, and the Tube, which made getting around London very convenient. The apartment was comfortable and worked really well for us. We especially appreciated being able to close off the main living space from both bedrooms, which was perfect when one of us needed to work while the others were sleeping. Our host was very communicative and helpful and left us a wonderful list of local restaurant recommendations. Everything made for an easy, enjoyable stay. We would happily stay here again and definitely recommend it!
We loved this flat. It was in the center of everything, but lovely and quiet. Totally safe neighborhood. It was a short walk to some amazing restaurants and pubs. Also a short walk to the tube for when we ventured further out. Christian, our Host, was very responsive and accommodating. We couldn't ask for more.
This was far and away the best experience I've had with a short-term rental. Christian went far beyond the duties of a host--waited for us to arrive, had a bottle of champagne ready, responded immediately to questions. I made a mistake with the booking, and Christian worked it out with some inconvenience to himself. The place itself is on one of the quietest streets in central London, and in one of the most convenient places for almost anything in London. There are two parks, one just a few houses down and another one street over. The flat is virtually across the street from the Brunswick Center, which now has a number of excellent cafes, restaurants and shops, and a Waitrose supermarket several hundred meters away. It's an immaculate and comfortable place, with plenty of room for three people. I'm going to try to book it every time I'm in London from now on.
