Cozy basement apartment. Great location to access underground and close food options. Apartment itself stays pretty cool being on lower level. Shower is a little tough to manage with the bi-fold door that doesn't open the whole way but otherwise it was a great place with plenty of room for us to settle in and enjoy.
This is a good flat in a quiet street. In fairness, it could do with some refurbishment in some areas, but the bed was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Being able to open the door to the outside seating area was welcome as it was very hot during the period we were there. As to be expected with a London basement apartment of this sort, there are a few steep steps down to the front door which could be difficult for anyone with mobility problems. But It is in an excellent location with both Marylebone and Baker Street underground nearby. We would be happy to stay here again.

Location was excellent. Close to train station, Baker St, and most central places are walkable if you like to go by foot. Host was easy to reach and responsive. There are some cosmetic issues- hole in the kitchen window, patio is cute (but the faux grass made it soggy and icky after a rainy day), tiles need to be replaced and the front area needs to be cleaned up! The unit was not available at the appointed check in time. They were still cleaning. Although they let us store our luggage, we had to kill time before the unit was available. We all get behind, but if I have to be out by 10:30 on my check out day, I expect the room to be ready by 3 on my check in. (Especially after a long flight to get there). I think if the property manager fixed some of the issues, my rating would be better. I think the unit could be great if more attention were paid on the upkeep. That said, it’s a budget property ame it served our needs.

The unit is not really comfortable for a family of 4.The bathrooms are extremely small. If u are a person of a slightly larger size or if u have to bathe a 3 or 4 year old, it is impossible. The unit is not very clean. It is a basement unit. The steps leading up to it and the area before steps actually have litter i.e. food wrappers and other trash thrown. The area just befote the entrance has moss growing on it. The bedroom has a funky smell. The host provided the most useless table fan for use during a heat wave even after telling him months in advance of putting another. The extra fan was the weakest table fan that can be provided. How hard is for these hosts to put a stand fan? We had to purchase a table fan which the host said he will comp but this is not what I want to do in a vacation. The apartment is pretty run down. Not a place I would have rented paying the money I did.Only good thing is location to marylebone and baker street connection and proximity to main attractions and food.
