The apartment building is centrally located in the middle of everything and is just walking distance from two different tube stations. The building is old and has a weird stale smell to it. The apartment itself is actually quite nice, spacious, updated, and doesn't smell like the building. Getting the key and checking in is very inconvenient because you have to retrieve the key from the clerk of a small convenient store. The convenient store is actually very easy to miss if you do not know what you're looking for. If you could look past the smell of the building and the checking in process, this is actually a quite comfortable place. I've stayed in London many times with easier checkins and nicer facilities around the same area for around the same price.
