It also works for the professional looking to be close to the hustle of central London while still enjoying the benefits of home. Chic and stylish this apartment has everything you need for a fuss free stay. There is a sofa that can be used as a futon bed if requested.

You can access the whole apartment as well as the outdoor terrace and dining area.
The Neighborhood:
The apartment is located in the sought after and exclusive area of Hampstead Village. The diverse restaurants, quaint coffee shops, fashion boutiques, and charming pubs that line Hampstead High Street are only steps away. Hampstead Heath is a 10 minute walk, bringing you into nature at its most authentic and expansive form. Lakes, ducks, lido pools and picnics make this a spot people flock to from all over the city.

Hampstead station is across the road along with a number of busses.

The flat is on the second floor so you are required to climb stairs. If you have mobility issue, baby strollers or any problem carrying luggage up stairs we suggest you contact us for assistance or other property options . Please ask for the exact number of stairs before booking if stairs are a problem.
There is a sofa that can be used as a futon bed if requested. Please note there is an extra linen fee for the sofa bed.

As a former resident of Hampstead, I know this quaint village quite well and we were thrilled to be able to stay at the Village Vixen for it offered an ideal location being within a stone's throw from the amazing shops (fruit/veg, bakeries, coffee, butcher, etc.) and just across from the Hampstead tube stop (Northern line)! We knew about the flat's upstairs location and packed accordingly to handle the stairs...opening the windows out on the high street and seeing blue sky above and the activity below was a true delight! Don't hesitate, book this adorable and well appointed flat for an incredible stay in Hampstead!
We enjoyed our stay but had one issue with this property... there was no mention in the listing of the 37 very steep stairs you have to climb with your suitcases which could be very difficult for older guests. We are 71 and 73 but very fit and active so this was not too much of an issue for us. Otherwise our stay was enjoyable.
It was a very unfortunate choice. It started with the alley leading to the apartment littered with rubbish. The flat was in a great position in the centre of Hampstead but the quality of the flat was very poor. Broken bed, TV partially working, window latches broken. All round a poor experience which forced us to find alternative accommodation after a couple of days….a pity as location in centre of village superb.
