Nice

The apartment hotel is conveniently located about 2-3 blocks from Paddinton station. The area is super quiet and there are a lot of good food and pub options. Connecting to central london are super easy as well.

Bob W Hyde Park was a fantastic location right in the centre of London and just a short walk to the "Lizzy Line", which made moving around super easy. The area was also super quiet at night, so you could get a great night's sleep even if you got a room facing the street. Bob W is just a safe bet for me now.

Great value and service!

Had a relaxing stay at Bob W. Room was bigger than expected and everything was In perfect condition. Location was an 8 minute walk to Paddington Station and Hyde Park. The hip restaurants of Notting Hill were also not far. Exceptional service from Bastien who went out of his way to troubleshoot tech issues. Very good value for money and eco-conscious as well. Stay there!

Very British property. Keyless entrance, no reception, and everything are on your phone. Very cozy apartments, well designed. And Bob is very attentive. Walking distance to Paddington station, a few nice places to have a dinner or good breakfast. Amazing neighborhood to have an evening walk or listen to morning birds. Highly recommend.

the property is very new. with that came some issues and they have proven that the staff there will do everything to solve and address an issue you might have. since m stay was on the 2nd week of opening i am sure after one or two weeks from now all the issues will be resolved. my stay was overall pleasing.

very nice, clean and comfortable. You need a cellphone to get in the door, unless you call and make special arrangements. Also, you can't leave your luggage and pick it up later...So it was a bit inconvenient overall, compared to a hotel.

The Bob W was very clean and quiet, but that’s the end of the positives. Our room was on the 4th floor, which was 82 narrow steps up (yes we counted) with no lift. Not a big deal except when you’re carrying suitcases! The temperature got hotter with each floor, and our window only opened about 4 inches for safety, and we had a fan that did very little so we slept with no bed covers. WiFi on the 4th floor was extremely weak. Out of the three outlets in the room for charging devices, only one worked. Finally, anyone remotely bigger would never fit in the bathroom! It was easy to contact the company, but they asked me to detail the issues and when I did, I never heard back. So, if you’re staying on the first floor, it might be perfectly fine….but I’d request not to be on the third or fourth floor for sure.

You needed a cell phone and stable internet connection to got into the hotel!! Pro: Location: walking distance to tube system, many shopping and dining choices around. Room is clean, our room was on third floor, facing away from street... quiet, peaceful and with a few pigeons hanging outside the window. Water pressure is excellent, hot/cold water almost instant. There is no staff on site, but responses from What's app were quick. Cons: Getting into the hotel is challenging. It become intuitive AFTER you learn how it operate. We got email for front door access code and got in w/o issue. There was another locked door right after we entered and no keypad. Internet connection at that area was weak/unstable (at least on my phone). We got locked between doors and did not know how to proceed. Luckily a couple came in a few minutes later and showed us how to access the door with the phone. The room is small, even by European standard. The bathroom is even smaller, the shower area is 2 feet by 3 feet. The whole bathroom width is about 3 feet wide. There is no lift, the stair case is narrow and steps are incremental higher. I felt like having a cardio work out by the time reaching 3rd floor with a carry on suitcase. Internet did not work, A/C did not work, contacted staff via What's app. Ended with sharing next room's net/ "We will have someone look at the A/C tomorrow". We opened the window and fixed the A/C i

We did have an administrative issue but I have to say once inside the accommodation it is very impressive. Every detail has been thought of is of the highest quality and I will definitely be staying again. Thank you Bob!

パディントン駅からとても近く立地が良いです。お部屋はコンパクトですが、新しくキレイで必要な物が全て揃っています。あと、チェキのカメラを置いてくれており、ロンドンの街並みを撮影できて楽しかったです。またロンドンに来たらここに泊まりたいです。

No desk or chair available - not suitable for business people who need to work from their hotel room. Unlocking the doors with iPhone worked fine but cannot always be reliable. Room was small. Toilet was a bit of a squeeze.

Outstanding. Bed just could have been a little softer. Still, I’m remembering this hotel if I need to go back to London. Doesn’t have a front desk and communication is through a website, which wasn’t a concern for me, but you may want to know.

Excellent location. Room was very small. Bed against window, no space to get into bed on far side. Shower small with sloping roof so my husband could not stand straight. No milk for tea, otherwise good provisions. Not suitable for large people or elderly. No lift. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Good communication with Bob W staff but all of our requests were unable to be addressed. Could not get onto WiFi and could not access TV

You can do better

The 'Pocket' sized room is impossibly small. The room was up four flights of stairs - with no lift. You are provided a code for the front door and then have to use an online portal to open an interior code and then the room door (via swiping your phone) What happens if you have sub-standard internet service? Our room door wouldn't lock at one stage. I waited 2 mins 30 secs for someone to pick up the phone - they couldn't solve it. Thankfully my wife contacted the hotel via What's App and this was solved quickly. What happens if you don't have What's App? It costs 30 GBP to have the shoe-box of a room cleaned. You can't simply turn on the television - it requires fiddling around with WIFI and a password - which is provided by the hotel. We couldn't get this to connect so gave up. It's a great location near Paddington Railway Station - put the effort in and find something better.
