Lovely hotel in convenient location. Room was clean and tidy with loads of little extras like biscuits (a rarity these days) full compliment of toiletries in the bathroom, and bathroom scales!!!!!. We had a small problem with air con but as we were only staying one night, just let reception know on departure. All staff were friendly and want to ensure you have a comfortable stay

Great location super comfy

I travel for business too frequently and stayed in more hotels than on hotels.com but this hotel had one of the comfyiest beds , great room temperature and everything I want and need in a hotel when travelling for business. Slighly requires some attention is I was being picky with small repairs needed but overall excellent

We were 3 ladies staying to go to the theatre. Great location for the Barbican (1 min walk). Most eateries shut because it’s the city and they don’t open at weekends. Room was good. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable and there was only 2 of everything in the room. Two cups, two glasses, two waters etc. but overall a pleasant stay.

Room needed a little facelift!

I stayed at the Townhouse across the road from the main Montcalm Brewery. The room was a little tired with scrapes on the wallpaper and loose floor tiles in the bathroom. Having said that it was a decent size with all amenities. Breakfast was also a little chaotic and they forgot my order twice. The reception staff were very accommodating and the hotel is very convenient for the city. Price was ok.

Good option as it's located not far from Moorgate and Liverpool Street stations and is surrounded by good cafes and shops. The room was nice and the bed was comfy too, the staff are extremely helpful

Very comfy stay

Great stay, indeed. Very comfortable bed and very attentive and accommodating hotel staff. Small downside was that there was a fire alarm at 6am that jolted us out of bed and it’s quite pricey, but then again it’s London.
