"We enjoyed spending two weeks at Casa Farol. The house is quite spacious and welcoming. It has wonderful views of the Farol lighthouse. We enjoyed some beautiful sunsets, as the house faces due west over the ocean. The area is quite rural and very quiet. The village has no amenities so a car is necessary. Orlando was great to communicate with us. We would recommend this house and hope to return next year."

"Absolute gem of a property. Perfect location, 10 mins drive to Calheta and its great beach. In walking distance to a few great restaurants in the cute little town. Unfortunately, the main tunnel was closed so it was a major detour to get in and out every time… probably 25 min extra to the trip. Rent a car if possible. "If you are looking for a secluded breathtaking location with a cozy, rustic but functional lodging - this house is for you. Sure there are some insects, and the house is not brand new but it all adds to the charm. And I promise you - you won't find any better view for your swims, dinners and birdwatching. In wenigen Minuten ist man in Calheta am Meer, hier gibts alles Strand, Restaurants und einen guten Supermarkt. Leider gab es in unmittelbarer Nähe eine größere Baustelle, die man nicht sieht, aber hört. Trotzdem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen."
