Loved this spot, the room was clean, I was in a room with doors opening to the shared balcony which was both great and too bad as that was the social area. A few guys were out there past quiet hours meaning there were right outside the window. Although during the day it was lovely to be connected to the balcony. They will do your laundry on proper for a very reasonable price and the parking was great, right outside the guest house. They’ve set the kitchen up wonderfully so that many people can use it at once. I loved my stay here and would highly recommend it!

This is an amazing place to go for a relaxing getaway! The host was so amazing and the place was incredibly clean. It is about a 30 minute walk from town so you will get your steps in if you do not bring a car. I will definitely be coming back here next time I am in Madeira!

Great stay! Hotel is clean and spacious. Property is wonderful with lots of amenities and places to relax (kitchen is great and well stocked). It isn’t super close to many restaurants, but a short drive into Sao Vincente or a great place to stay in and cook for yourself as a break from eating out! Would stay again!

Charming villa well located within minutes of the town. You do need a car to get there and parking on the street is easy. Rooms were comfortable and shared bathrooms were cleaned often. Great renovated kitchen with large balcony attached. The host is welcoming and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Idyllic and Peaceful

Excellent stay with Joaquim and co whom are very welcoming. The room and property are kept clean and tidy. There are fantastic views of the surrounding area of Sao Vicente from the property as well. I would be more then happy to stay here again. Approx 10 min walk to the local cafes. 30 min walk to Sao Vicente town/waterfront, and approx 40 mins walk back due to the incline. It is an ideal location if you have a rental car! X

Bed Bugs, After staying here for three nights after the first night I woke up with a little rash, thinking it really was nothing. After the second night. He continued to stay pretty much the same on the third day. I woke up with a rash pretty much throughout every part of my body that was not covered by clothing after you’re getting two opinions from professional pharmacist who confirmed bed bug bites after trying to reach out to the property. I have gotten no response.

Eigentlich schönes hostel mit freundlichen Leuten, aber zum einen Zimmer zim Teil staubig, der Bezug für die Bettdecke besteht nur aus 2 losen Tüchern (gewöhnbungsbedürftuf) und die Badsituation fanden wir nicht so optimal, da das untere Bad schon sehr klein und auch nicht besonders einladend ist. Das obere ist okey. Küche ist schön und man hat alles was man brauch. Gibt auch einen Whirlpool. Generell waren die Zimmer überall etwas kalt, da die kleinen Heizkörper es zum Teil nicht schaffen, die Räume hochzuheizen. Im Großen und Ganzen war das Hostel vollkommen in Ordnung, die Lage war top und man hat es dort schon ausgehalten, dennoch waren wir auch froh als wir die Unterkunft geplant gewechselt haben,
