"For the value the property is perfectly adequate. Staff was available if needed. The rooms are as quaint as they were when the hotel opened in the late ‘70’s. The location is the real asset of this hotel, you are right in the middle of all Winter Park activities."

"First time I’ve stayed in a Marriott in a long time. Upon arrival, everything looked great, but when I went into the actual hotel room, discovered it was very dirty. I spilled a bit of water on the kitchen floor when I wiped it up and looked at the paper towel. It was black with dirt. Underneath the bar in the kitchen, there are crumbs on the floor underneath the desk in the Living area There were crumbs on the floor. But really freaked me out was I got into bed and I looked at the carpeting in between the bed and the nightstand and it was a beautiful shade of blue but when you got away from the bed, it turned dark gray and that’s not by the color , it’s by dirt the carpets need to be steamed cleaned badly.. I used to clean hotel rooms for living. I understand every once in a while things get missed, but the carpeting was really gross.."

"4 different staff members went out of their way to attempt to stoke me into unnecessary and potentially unfriendly conversation. Housekeeping on the 3rd floor has a set up that is not comfortable. Had only one unpleasant encounter w maintenance staff in same nature as general service. Orlando has a lot of servers yo. And yes, the rooms have open sockets where lights used to be with potential for abuse in my experience. I liked the area closer to the mini airport and festival park better."

"The room was beautiful and quiet and the coffee espresso pods were delicious. Don’t understand why hotel bathrooms don’t have exhaust fans? The art was outstanding. We had brunch and it was good. Didn’t know about the rooftop pool. Staff could be a little more helpful with providing an overview of the amenities and they didn’t offer the WiFi password with. Super classy place and a great location."
