The Dublin House Motel

"Fun, but small motel. Staff was friendly except for the first thing that was said to me was that they would ban me indefinitely if my debit card was blocked. My biggest issue was that there were no screens on any of the windows. With no A/C, I enjoyed having the windows open but felt less secure than I would have had there been window screens. They also highly recommend that you book directly through them rather than a 3rd party. The unfinished wooden ceiling was quite charming and have the room a cozy cottage vibe. The small cove nearby was beautiful and the local fish market nearby had some of the best halibut fish and chips I've ever had."

"My husband and I had a terrific anniversary trip and this was such a perfect town to stay in and also the place was excellent. Close and walking distance to everything in Yachatas. The views of the ocean were awesome. The room was very clean, roomy for both of us, had everything we would of needed for our stay. The deck and chairs outside made it nice to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the waves. The weather was a bit cloudy so only wished we could of enjoyed some beautiful sunsets on our stay. Highly recommend this place!"

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Tide & Seek was the perfect location for our two-night home base in Yachats. It's an ideal spot only two blocks from Yachats State Park (where we spend a lot of time) and about three blocks from the Drift Inn (where we also spend a lot of time). Groceries, post office, and plenty of food and bev choices are all within easy walking distance. Tide & Seek is the perfect size for two of us and our pup and is well-appointed for what we needed. We did not cook, but I was pleased to find a kettle for heating water for my pour-over coffee in the morning. The ice-maker in the freezer was an unexpected bonus. Everything was spotless, and the front patio was perfect for our evening happy hours and morning coffee with crosswords. Literally the only slightly odd part of our experience was the solar-powered mole deterrent stakes, which make a weird, random buzzing sound. It wasn't overly intrusive, by any means, but definitely noticeable. Nothing that would prevent us from staying here again or strongly recommending Tide & Seek to others. Thank you for a lovely time in Yachats!"

Ya-Hatian Tides - Yachats Bay/Oceanfront

"Our family of 6 spent 4 fun nights at the home. Highlights were the proximity to the beach and tide pools, enjoying the outside patio and hot tub, and dinners overlooking beach. Access to the beach requires a short walk across the outlet of the yachats river but it’s easy to cross in lower tides. We also drove a couple minutes to the opposite side of the beach where you can just walk to the beach without crossing the river. The town had lots of options for food and fun. We enjoyed evening walks to the tide pools and watching the sunsets. Highly recommend this home for its location."
