"We had excellent views of Salt Pond and Drunk Bay. The platform was in good shape with all we needed for our stay. The cleaning was okay but it could of used a better sweeping especially under the bed. The coffee maker needed a good cleaning but that is what you get when you depend on the previous visitors to clean up. We had to reach out through a text to get the password for web access and we never encountered any office staff face to face, the office was not open while we were there from checkin to checkout. We were on island for 10 days and it would have been nice to change our towels after 4 days or so but there was no one around to ask. We absolutely loved the restaurant. The staff was great and the food was very good! Sonica makes the visit fun and makes a great drink. All the staff we encountered at the restaurant were very friendly. All in all we had a good stay."

"Alta Vista is amazing! Perfect spot on top of Bordeaux Mtn, with breezes, views of Coral Bay and Tortolla, sunsets and sunrises! Hosts are very responsive and helpful. This villa has everything you need. Well appointed kitchen, gas grill, refreshing pool and hot tub. At night, sitting in the hot tub, turn off all the lights off you get a great view of the moon stars!Primary bedroom with outdoor shower, is just off the kitchen, yet still feels private. Additional two bedrooms with en-suite are detached and very private.Upper level has lounge and large table for dining and games. Depending on the weather, it can actually get a little chilly with the breezes (refreshing after a day in the sun), so be sure to pack a sweatshirt or light jacket. Very comfortable, would highly recommend! "

"This is an awesome cottage! The perfect place to escape the bustle of normal life and immerse yourselves in nature. It’s completely secluded, but not that far off the beaten path, and the view is incredible - well worth the trip down the stairs. Amenities were great and we had everything we needed for a week’s getaway - especially appreciated the beach gear, fully equipped kitchen, and well functioning bathroom (decent water pressure). Highly recommended!"

"We had a terrific stay at Lameshur Cottage! It was relaxing & comfortable, and in a quiet location for exploring the east end of St John. There are neat little groceries nearby to cook for yourself, but also places to eat out not far in Coral Bay.We enjoyed being so close to the great snorkeling in Salt Bay Pond and great birding opportunities. We could watch the huge flock of flamingos on the small pond below our porch, and had beautiful birds coming to the sugar feeder. The host, Bill, met us on arrival and hauled our biggest suitcase up the stairs for us. He was helpful and attentive the whole time. If you are looking for a slightly rustic but peaceful and relaxing experience on St. John- this is the place!!"

"Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The house is the perfect mix of cozy and well-equipped, with an incredibly comfortable bed that made for great sleep. We spent every morning on the deck with coffee; the sunrise views are breathtaking and make every step of those stairs completely worth it.The property felt like a secluded tropical retreat. We loved the local "neighbors", from wild goats on the road to hermit crabs under the stairs and geckos on the deck. The nighttime sounds of the wildlife were so soothing. A huge thank you to the property managers, Leonarda and Nina, who were kind, helpful, and made us feel right at home. A beautiful stay in a stunning area!"
