This was exactly as advertised. A quiet, large space perfect for visiting Cintra for a few days. Everything was clean and in good order.
It is a little off the beaten path which I appreciated, but it is about a 10 minute walk uphill to reach the historic city center. Nearby to the train station and some spots for breakfast, as well as a very nice restaurant on the block for dinner.

The room was clean and very spacious. It had a kitchen with everything you need for cooking, if so inclined. The kitchen and sink can be hidden behind closet doors making the place look really neat. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely consider it if ever back in Sintra.

Well located, functional kitchen, comfortable beds. However, one of the patio door did not lock. Personally, for me, it is an important security issue.
Excellent location for touring Sintra. Close to city center and convenient to the castles for touring. Essentially a street away from the main drag, but far enough that it was very quiet. Beds were also quite comfortable. Shower and bathroom were roomy. Would stay here again!
This is a really lovely villa in Sintra. We had a nice stay & the staff are friendly and nice. Most of all, we were able to cook dinner & sit in a nice big kitchen looking out a beautiful cozy view. The only thing is that if you have a car, you will need to park about 15 min walk distance at the public parking space. Also, because this is an antique villa, there is no sound-proof. As there are 3 rooms to share common area so each guest has to be move quietly at night. Over all, I was happy with this hotel.
Don’t look any further. Fabulous place to stay close to everything and bus train station very close by. When we checked in the staff were outstanding providing us with excellent information. Room was spacious and clean with heat option.
Thw staff was really nice and guided me very cleary through each single step. There are sone very easy parking lots at 150m from the property. No payment from 20.00 to 8.00.
Very friendly, efficient and informative staff. Nice little place away from Main Street but close to everything. I even left shoes there and was quickly notified so we could pick up. Thank you❤️

Disliked: Amenities
The room was in good condition but they make it look so much nicer than what you really get. You could smell somebody smoking through the vent in the bathroom and you can hear others in rooms around you. The bathroom was nice and remodeled. It was nice for the price that it is. I would stay here again. Some of the lights at night are really bright and warning stickers glow on the walls while you are trying to sleep. It isn't really close to anything but then again in Sintra everything is pretty far from each other in terms of walking. The view from the seating area is beautiful but we couldn't enjoy it because people were out there smoking the whole time. Even 7 am when we woke up the next morning in the dark they were out there smoking again. For the price it is a warm comfy bed and a place to safely lie your head.
This was a large apartment conveniently situated down a quiet street near the train station and the buses. It was a pleasant walk to the historical part of town. The villas had cooking facilities and a separate bedroom. Though the bathroom was large, the toilet was situated so the shower door had to remain open while using to accommodate knees. I thought it was hilarious.
Great value for an apartment type of one bedroom hotel. Basic furnishings but practical mostly. Very clean. Nice to have a full kitchen if want to cook or reheat some food although we only ate out. Only suggestion is having more hooks in the wall in the rooms and bathroom for towels, rain jackets etc. very quiet street and good blackout curtains to sleep in after jet lag.
This was a great choice. This place is adorable. We loved the rustic look. The beds were very comfortable. Shower was nice, good water pressure and hot water. AC worked great. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They provide a map of the area with suggestions about what to see and restaurants. We enjoyed eating at Restaurante Apeadeiro, their suggestion for Portuguese. Luis Santos for more upscale and Volta e Meia. You can't go wrong with any of these places, and they are all walking distance from property. Just up the hill at the main road is a small grocery. We got yogurt, fruit and OJ for breakfast in the room.
My husband and I wanted some extra space, so we rented the family unit. It offered a bed in the living room area and a separate room with a bed and 2nd full bath. It gave us the space to really relax. The kitchen was well stocked and if you needed anything they'd get it for you. You had to ask for wine glasses.
The terrace is narrow but offers a table that hinges out from the wall. The view is so nice and it's a great spot to enjoy a glass of wine and unwind after a long day of exploring.
This property is close to the train station. It was quiet and we enjoyed being outside the main tourist area. It's an easy walk to get to the center of town. We were able to walk to the Quinta de Regaleria and took an Uber to and from Pena Palace/Moorish Castle area.
I would stay at this property again.
