Ce backpack ne mérite absolument pas 3 étoiles !

J'ai eu toutes les peines du monde pour trouver l'hôtel (plan erroné et aucune indication) J'ai été accueilli par une demoiselle en chaussettes qui ne parle que l'anglais (sauf au moment de l'addition ou elle parle très bien portugais et français...) Cette demoiselle était la comptable. Quand elle m'a présenté la chambre des dizaines de cartons jonchaient le sol ! Visiblement gênée, elle est partie demander des explications (houleuses) à son camarade. J'ai finalement été surclassé dans une chambre au RdC. Dans cette chambre, la déco était sympa mais la qualité et la propreté de la salle de bains étaient vraiment mauvaises. Cet hôtel ne mérite absolument pas ses 3 étoiles. D'ailleurs je n'appelle pas ça un hôtel mais plutôt un backpack...

Personalized service in small B&B

Lena was an amazing hostess. Breakfast was really great (and GF!). Our room (#4) was huge and the patio was great. Facilities are a bit old but the amenities (kitchen access, patio, living room, free wifi, self service bar) we're all fantastic. Noise from a nearby road can be loud but it wasn't a huge bother for us.

Really nice B&B. Close to everything in Sintra. Staff are SO nice! Breakfast is perfectly filling. I will surely stay again at Oh Casa Sintra!

Abbiamo dormito in questa guest house solo una notte. La casa è in genere un po' vecchiotta e avrebbe bisogno in alcuni punti di una sistemata, ma ha comunque il suo fascino e nel complesso è un bel posto. La nostra camera era composta da due zone: la camera vera e propria (piuttosto piccola) e un salottino separato con due poltrone utile anche per aprire i bagagli. Il bagno e la doccia erano piuttosto piccoli. Gli ospiti hanno poi a disposizione gli spazi comuni con un salotto con bar self-service, una cucina attrezzata (con a disposizione la macchinetta del caffè e il bollitore) e il giardino arredato. Buona la colazione, servita dalla proprietaria (non a buffet). A disposizione qualche posto auto anche se piuttosto stretto e complicato se si ha una macchina grande.

Hotel of Great Character in Beautiful Sintra

Hotel is situated away from the historical centre, west of the Sintra train station, and also a close walk to the Portela station and bus terminal. It's 10-15 mins walk to the palace and historical centre or you can catch the 434 bus from the train station. There is dorm style accommodation that provides great value, and private rooms are also available. There is a lounge area, dining room with honour bar and kitchen, and a pretty garden for chatting with fellow travellers. Manager during my stay was Allen who is very knowledgeable on good restaurants and activities in Sintra. Resident chef Hugo also cooks up a feast for guests upon advance notice. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Oh Casa Sintra and highly recommend the property.

고풍스러운 건물을 가진 숙소, 그러나...

그러나 난방이 되지 않았고, 체크인에 상당한 어려움이 있었다. 4인 도미토리가 아닌 본 건물은 상태가 좋았지만 별관 도미토리는 쾌적하지 못하고 너무 추웠다.

Lovely House/Hotel - Casa/Hotel adorável

Danila and Maya welcomed me with tea, tips about the city, and a nice chat. They are lovely girls! I stayed in the dorm for 2 nights - which is located behind the main house. Its bathroom doesn't work, so you have to walk to the main house to use the restroom, and this restroom has a lace curtain that allows people to see you in there, if they are walking by the parking spot. I believe they are going to fix that soon, as I mentioned I felt a bit embarrassed using it. :) It is near train station and the bus 434 that takes you to Palacio Pena e Castelo dos Mouros for 5 euros. During my stay, they had a special dinner offered to some guests, and that looked FANTASTIC! The main house has a nice fireplace, candles, nice music, and lovely decoration. Isabela, the housekeeper is very kind and adorable. Hugs to the girls. ;) = = = O hotel/B&B é uma graça. Muito fofo numa casa de 125 anos. A casa principal é muito bem decorada e às vezes eles oferecem jantares especiais que parecem maravilhosos (preço 40 euros - pelo menos quando eu estava lá)! A sala principal é aconchegante com lareira, velas e boa música. Se você for ficar no dormitório com 4 camas (que fica atrás da casa), saiba que o banheiro lá não funciona e você tem que usar o banheiro da casa principal que tem uma cortina de renda que quando alguém está passando pelo estacionamento pode ver você. Meio constrangedor!

The staff and owners make this place so special! From their first welcoming smiles and offers of coffee to their advice about fun in Sintra, Danilla and Luisa went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Spend an evening with them, enjoying the fire in the lovely living room, or enjoy their occasional private dinners if one is hosted while you're there. The one downside is the outside road noise, which is daunting in room 2. Try to get a room on the other side of the house.

The host greeted us warmly and gave loads of info about what to do and see, where to eat, shop, walk. The house is lovely and the evening drinks were great. The breakfast, served outside in the lovely garden, was wonderful. I can't say enough good things about this place!
