"Clean property, amazingly friendly staff (especially Matilda). Loved the ambience, the quality of the food and wines. Only very minor quibble was we were in the eaves which did not give us a lot of headroom when getting into bed. Loved this place and would highly recommend it and would like to return in the future. "15 minutes drive from the Lincoln Showground, it's a light and airy hotel, friendly staff. The bathroom tiling was unfinished and the mastic areas were roughly done. Having said that the room was clean, bed, pillows and linens were very comfortable. The breakfast was okay, basic and a little dry (bacon, beans and egg) but we didn't come down to eat until 9.30am so maybe that was why. There was fresh fruit, yoghurt, a couple of cereals, bread and a couple of pastries. The restaurant area was kept exceptionally clean by the staff. I would definitely stay here again. "
