Good hotel in Liege
Good quality hotel. Room very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast plentiful. Restaurant food good although not the cheapest. Parking convenient on site (payable)

Decent comfortable spa stay
Excellent hotel, good rooms. Only weird thing is had to ask them to turn off loud corridor music which they quickly did. Spa was great except hot tub was cold. Sauna in good working order

Engagement night destroyed
Horrible. After showering there was a lot water in our room... it did not go away. When we complained they were not nice at all... the guy that claimed to be the hotel manager just apologized after 15 minutes and because we asked him too (and that is the worst!).. I travel about 80 nights a year and in whole my life I jave not been treated like this... not even close...

Your first welcomed by reception staff, with a smile when enter the hotel. Enjoyed our 3day stay. The food was excellent and service too great team work. No faults only positive notes. Will return again.

Van der Valk - Congress Liège
It was a wonderful stay, even in the midst of a major storm. When the power went out, the staff quickly came to assist with getting the power back on. The location is quite central. The fitness center was comprehensive and had nice views onto the Meuse/Maas. The pool is not an Olympic-sized one, but great for relaxation and water fitness. A return visit is likely.

Pleasant Stay
Really good hotel for a city trip stay. Location is perfect. Free parking and just a 15 min walk from the city centre. Staff is friendly. Hotel is very clean and tidy. Don't forget to vist the bar at the 10th floor.

Great New Years Weekend Stay
Super friendly staff, beautiful hotel and professional housekeeping staff that kept the rooms looking great. Very impressed with the housekeeping staffs attention to detail, example even the microfiber was cleaned perfectly with a design pattern everywhere you looked in the room and public spaces. Another pleasant surprise was the Sky Bar, great service and very reasonable prices. Everyone working at the hotel spoke perfect English which I appreciated. The Pool & Spa area was a nice bonus and included in the room rate. Note that Lounge Chair seating next to the pool is limited however. It appears that they have a nice outdoor terrace for the summer time however. We would absolutely stay again the next time we're in Liege.

Fine hotel with parking included. Nice, comfortable room. Too far to walk to downtown liege, but a nice stopover from the highway.

Bad service and attitude at reception
The booking condition states free onsite parking. However the hotel ended up charging €15 per day and insisted the parking garage right underneath hotel building with hotel’s name at entrance was not onsite. The receptionist in the morning initially agreed to offer free but only for one day and denied the offer in the afternoon. While the ‘free inside parking’ area that hotel stated was more than full with a few cars waiting to get a space..

Rooms are always clean and comfortable, coffee, hot chocolate and cold drinks in the room. Restaurants are good if a little costly and a well stocked bar.

In general it was a good experience, The room was smelling, not really understood what but I think it was something that they’re using to clean the room. The staff from the reception was very friendly and very helpful! The staff /waitress from the restaurant was a disaster we went for dinner and we had to wait more than one hour and a half for the food!

An ok stay
We stayed at the hotel to visit family living in Liege. The hotel is ok overall, definitely popular apparent in the crowd. But the crowd made it also somewhat unsettling at a time of Covid with many people (customers) not wearing masks and with limited social distancing. we found the service very slow, likely the results of being crowded, but it was not good to wait for two hours to get a room service and having to cancel it as the food still had not arrived at 11pm. It generally took time to get the attention of the waiters at the restaurant. In the room itself, there was limited amount of toiletries for two people and the pillows in the bed were extremely soft for comfortable sleep.

Hotel Overcharged me $145 - and didn't fix it.
Had a wonderful stay here, feeling that they are handling covid well. Unfortunately I got home and they had made an additional $145 charge on my account! I wrote them and they said it was a mistake and issued a refund - but only temporarily. Days later I have not been able to get them to issue a refund. MISTAKES involving unauthorized, extra charges that are NOT fixed is called STEALING!

Property was exactly as depicted in the pictures, quite modern with a nice sauna/spa/gym onsite. The room was clean and a few beverages were free within the minibar. There might be better locations but I doubt you find better properties in Liege.
