"A great stay on average during weekend. The hotel is located near highway in a quiet and beautiful area surrounded by an orange tree orchard, with pool, football field, on-site parking. "We had a wonderful time and the service was outstanding. The grounds are beautiful and the beach is stunning. The only issue we had was the condition of the beach chairs. It was surprising that they were in such poor condition. The back rests were not stable and my husband got his finger caught in the hinge when he sat down and the back folded back unintentionally. He required 5 stiches and had a very long stay at the local hospital. The assistant director was wonderful and very helpful...

"very small budget level rooms so sparsely furnished that there are NO surfaces large enough to allow opening an airline size carryon...except the FLOOR. Incredible front desk wound up searching four rooms with us to find a room that managed to minimally meet our needs...there are much better truck stop motels in Italy than this seriously in need of maintenance excuse for a hotel...to be fair, excellent breakfast and friendly,super caring front desk and servers!"

However, the en suite plumbing is very old and falling apart. Good range of choices for the buffet breakfast, but only replenished if you ask. The big turn off was that only very small plastic plates, plastic cutlery and plastic or paper cups are available. If they want to save on washing up, they should at least provide...

"We really loved our stay here - not sure why the reviews are so bad. The farmhouse has been renovated and is gorgeous - you have a bedroom with another bed on a mezzanine for the kids. The rooms are clean and have aircon (thank goodness... it was 35 degrees :-)) There's parking right in front of your room and a big pool and pool area to use - if I understand correctly there is a small charge to use the pool but we were out every day until late so it didnt apply.
