"This may be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. First of all, I love history and so you are staying where King Charles II had his castle. Secondly, the breakfast was amazing. Third, the rooms had beautiful chandeliers with high ceilings. And finally the wellness area had a lovely sauna room. The hotel was so close to all the picturesque spots. We will be back!"

Unfortunately our room was on the ground floor with windows right onto the road, and trucks going by throughout the night kept waking us up.
