"Das Haus liegt einsam an einem kleinen Wanderweg und direkt am Golfplatz auf den Klippen der Alabasterküste. Es ist dort absolut ruhig. Nach Étretat läuft man etwa eine Viertelstunde zu Fuß. Auf dem Weg liegt das Hotel Dormy House, wo man bei einem unglaublichen Blick auf den Ort, die Küste und das Meer sehr gut essen oder einfach einen Aperitif genießen kann. Wir waren während unseres Aufenthalts mehrmals dort zu Gast.Donnerstags ist Markttag in Étretat. Auch in Gonneville-la-Mallet gibt es mittwochs einen Markt. Dort kann man insgesamt gut einkaufen. Wir haben viel gekocht und die Küche ist mit allem Wesentlichen ausgestattet. Auch ein Grill steht zur Verfügung. Unser Hund hatte hier eine sehr glückliche Zeit. Der große Garten ist zu drei Seiten geschlossen und zum Feld hin offen. Mit der Zeit wurde sein Radius immer größer, aber wir konnten gut überblicken, wo er sich aufhielt, und ihn jederzeit zurückrufen.Die Kommunikation mit Thibault war prompt und äußerst angenehm. Regine und ihr Mann kümmern sich darum, dass Haus und Grundstück sauber und in gutem Zustand sind. Besonders angenehm war die Zwischenreinigung während unseres dreiwöchigen Aufenthalts – das ist wirklich nicht selbstverständlich.Hervorzuheben ist die Plage d’Antifer. Zu Fuß ist man in etwa 15 Minuten dort und wir konnten unseren Hund mitnehmen. Wir sind hatten eine rundum glückliche Zeit. Für uns ist dieser Ort zu einem echten Sehnsuchtsort geworden – und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen."

"I didn’t have many options on hotels and went with this one and what a treat. The location is fantastic. I had a sea view room with balcony and it was such a delight to be able to open the doors and take in the fresh air and sounds of revelry. I was there for less than 24 hours and I got a chance to hike up both cliffs and wander through the town. Cannot beat the convenience factor. I’m impressed by how the closed doors blocked out so much of the noise. That said, there’s no air conditioning so if you want cooler room temps you’ll need to open the door. Luckily the night was mild enough that I was able to leave the door closed. The bed itself isn’t that comfortable. That doesn’t bother me because the view and convenient location more than made up for it. The staff is wonderful."
