We enjoyed a relaxing 2 weeks here in a spacious room with views of Rutland Water and lots of fresh air.
The room staff were very bright and helpful/caring leaving fresh towels and coffee/tea making materials outside our door if we had used "do not disturb" so we were kept well supplied. There is some walking to and from the dining room and the leisure facilities as the resort is situated in several buildings but this is all good & healthy. You can drive & park between buildings if you need...

Fantastic place for a weekend stay in Stamford. Attached to a lovely pub but still quiet and pleasant. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Great right next to Stamford high street. We stay here every time

Arriving at the hotel was such a delight, exactly as the photos showed. Lovely staff, beautiful grounds and we really enjoyed a drink in the garden followed by dinner. Definitely recommend it.

5 days with good breakfast and cheery host.
The only issue which is symptom of old stone buildings was nowhere to plug devices in. Finally found a power board under the bed. But minor issue.

The "annexe" is a wonderful place to stay (tastefully decorated and very comfy bed) and thoroughly recommend but like another reviewer, found it very difficult to find (and that was with sat nav AND asking people in the village!!). The address is actually the CORNER of Glen Road and Coulthorpe Lane.
Host Barney was quick to organise our evening meal for us at The Castle pub. Highly recommend as well but be prepared for the local villagers to be warm and inclusive!!!

Clean, new equipment (TV, plumbing) needs written instructions for use. Continental breakfast is the bare minimum.
Doonahs/duvets only and no sheets/blankets available for non-doonah/duvet users. Staff very helpful.
