Stayed here a few weeks ago and it was fine. I had a smallish room but it had a bed and shower which was all I needed. However this time I obviously got an upgrade and got a suite with a huge bed and bathroom. Brand new room!

Okay accommodation for a quick stay. Bed and pillows are very hard. Building section we were in was very quiet and clean. Very convenient location for a train stop over. A staff member wanted to hold our passports till check out although we had prepaid. We asked him to complete the entry of our stay then as we were not comfortable with our passports staying at the front desk overnight.

This is a clean quiet hotel right across from the Lamezia train station which is very convenient for a tired traveller arriving in Lamezia late at night This hotel is reliable clean and the staff are excellent

Not 4 star accomodation
The bed was uncomfortable/the flooring was lifting/ overall the rooms are old and not maintained. Door frames coming off/ sink drain not draining properly/shower door broken. Toilet system leaking. Overall disappointing definitely not 4 star accomodation.

Great location just across from the train station. The staff were excellent with vg customer skills, friendly, and professional. Free breakfast with good options with stay is handy . Having a restaurant is also so convenient and definitely a plus.

It was quiet and clean. We got the two-bedroom suite, and the extra space was lovely. The restaurant food was yummy, and we found a supermarket and pastry shop just down the street. Arriving by train, it was right across the street, and there was a bus to the airport every 30 minutes. Would stay there again!

Four star?
We stayed here due to its proximity to the train station which is great, as we had some day trips planned using the train. However this is not a 4 star hotel when compared with properties of the same rating, its a 3 star at best. The rooms were clean but very basic and in need of updating. The safety deposit box in our room did not work, front desk told us that it could not be used due to an electrical issue. Coffee at breakfast was great but the breakfast itself was very limited, day one the breakfast was ok but day 2 the croissants were burnt and the bread stale. As this is a four star hotel, I have to compare it versus other four stars we have stayed at in Italy and using this bench mark it doesn't come out that favourably, if it were a three star property my expectations of it would be different. In terms of the price per night, it is good value for money and the free waters in the room is a nice touch.

Could not sleep.
Room wa clean. Bed very hard. Pillows very hard. The "climate control" is a recirculating box fan in the ceiling that blows the warm room-air back into the room. NOT COOL AIR. I barely slept. The bathroom was spotless and well-appointed.

Grand Hotel Lamezia
Arrived at 10am expecting to leave our luggage and check in later, but very helpful receptionist checked that the rooms were ready and checked us in straight away. Clean, comfortable (if somewhat stark) rooms. Could not be more convenient location - immediately opposite the station (and shuttle bus stop for the airport)

I've stayed several times and it's great if you are flying out of the Lamezia airport (about 10 minutes away). Also, across the street from the Central Railway Stattion so I have used train from and to the hotel. Nice staff! Didn't rate at top on some categories simply because it's not a super highend type place but nice.

It’s a great hotel near the airport when you have a vet early morning flight. The room was decent - a bit on the older side- but the AC worked well (which tends to be the biggest deal breaker for me).

Convenient and comfortable
This is a spacious hotel located opposite the main rail station, with local and long distance bus links opposite also. Reception were welcoming and helpful. The room was large and comfortable; although the air conditioning was loud even at its lowest fan setting. Wifi was good and breakfast was enjoyable with a wide selection of food on offer. The local area is rather sparse but 'Mary's pub' is a good place to eat etc. and 50 meters away. The airport bus leaves directly opposite every half hour.

Good Enough
A little on the old side but overall it was a positive stay. The staff was courteous and friendly. The room was clean enough. The food was good, I had delicious pinsetta for dinner and the breakfast was well stocked and varied. Conveniently located right across from the train station.

Convenient for station and airport
We stayed here as we were arriving by train and had an early morning flight. The hotel is just across the road from the train station, and there is a shuttle bus that goes from the station to the airport (every half an hour - get tickets in the Tabaci by the hotel). The staff were friendly and helpful. We had dinner there, which was good and reasonable.For convenience for the airport and station it is excellent.

basic room with good value
Came in on the last train and needed to be at the airport early morning, so I booked a room here because of the convenient location. It was a brief stay but a good value, especially being right across the train station and a 5 minute taxi or bus to the airport. If you are just travelling through Lamezia Terme then I would definitely suggest it, but I believe the main city center is a few miles away. Very friendly staff from what I saw. The room was basic but a good value.

Basically you chose this hotel for the location - 5 mims by bus from airport, right opposite railway station so really handy for exploring the region. Hotel itself nice, good size rooms and decent breakfat and dinner but not much around.
