Cambria Hotel Portland - Pearl District

"The hotel itself is nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The one big issue with the hotel is the area it's in. There are a lot of homeless people in Portland. This is especially true in the downtown area bordering the Pearl District. It just didn't feel safe which colored the entire visit. If the hotel was in a safer feeling area, it would be great. Is it is, I probably wouldn't stay anywhere in the area. I would look for accommodations on the other side of the river."
