"This little property went above and beyond for a short stay in L’Anse. The cabin is the perfect size for efficiency and was extremely comfortable, providing just enough room to cook, shower, eat, sleep, and lounge. Loved the way it looked at night with the lights around camp. Just a great stay, can’t recommend enough. Will be back :)"

"The motel was fine. Nothing was bad or good. I saw one worker while I was there. She was talking to another client so I went downstairs to talk to her about extending my stay by a night. She said that would not be a problem and that she would just charge my card another day. Everything else was done on-line. My room was fine, but my mattress seemed worn out. I've always enjoyed the location of the motel, being right on the main road and on the channel across the road from Lake Ruth!"

"Host answered all our questions in a very reasonable time. Plenty of room and bathrooms for our family of 11. A tv would have been nice in the cabin. Would have been nice to open windows but no screens were on them. Loved the 2 washer and dryers and 2 refrigerators. Nice to have king beds in every room of the lodge. We would go back in a heart beat!"

"We really enjoyed staying at this property. Especially appreciated the host letting us know that the house was available to check in earlier than the posted time as I was having a bad migraine that day and wasn’t feeling up to sightseeing. Was great to check in early and just relax the rest of the day."

"We had a wonderful stay here. The lake view was beautiful! It was a really cute cozy place with a great hot tub. It was nice to be able to bring our dog and he had lots of room to wander outside. It was a great location too."

"Larry and Marie were fantastic hosts! Property was as advertised and so much better than what the hotels in the area were going for. We really enjoyed getting to know you guys and enjoying the beautiful weather Saturday night. Definitely recommend and hopefully we’ll get back soon to visit!
