"It was hard to find anybody to help check in or to report problems. No one answered the phone numbers listed on the sign or written on the white board at the front door. (Voicemail was full and therefore i couldn't leave a message. ) When I could find someone to talk to, they were friendly and helpful, but did not look professional (they dressed in pajamas or no shirts). I did like the location and the rustic decor of the rooms."

"Great base for a stay in the UP. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The check in was easy, the bed was comfortable, the washer/dryer was great, and the shower was very nice. We did not use the hot tub but it looked very inviting. Enjoyed spending time on the dock (bring bug spray). It was nice to have the lake so close and accessible. The location was perfect for what we wanted. Not too far from Munising (did a Pictured Rocks River Boat Cruise and hiked to see a few waterfalls. Wagner Falls and Miners Falls are both very nice.) Dead River Falls near Marquette is also a terrific hike if you are in relatively good shape and agile. We also (surprisingly) really enjoyed Lakenenland which is a free metal sculpture park outside Marquette. The pieces are very well done with some whimsical, some political and some in memory of various people/groups. Would also recommend Jerzi’s 41 for dinner. It is close to the cabin and the food is very good (loved the ribs…so tender). Would definitely stay here again if in the area."
