"This was a wonderful cabin to stay in, the location, privacy and the accommodations were great. We really enjoyed the comfort of the cabin. The location, privacy and the extras were really great. We really enjoyed the comfort of the cabin, the amazing view from the cabin, and the feeling of being so remote yet so close to everything. It is a wonderful property, and Wayne has done a great job with it! We will be renting it again this summer."

"We enjoyed our time on beautiful Lake Lure relaxing, playing games and just enjoying quality time with family over Thanksgiving. The only thing to note is the main level master has a double bed and the queen is downstairs, so that affected our sleeping arrangements, as my elderly parents aren’t able to go down stairs. With that said, we adjusted and ended up using the pullout couch downstairs. On Thanksgiving day, linens were brought to the home for our use, so we appreciated that prompt response! Our fur babies were also allowed to join us, so that made the trip even better. We were extremely diligent about picking up their waste; however, we did see other dogs walking around the property so we wanted to make sure we weren’t charged (as if it were our babies’ messes). Again, we had a great time, watched a lot of football and played a new fun games as a family! It was very cold so we didn’t make it out to the fire pit as we had hoped. We will have to come back to try it out! "

"The Cottage is beautiful and private, just what we needed. The entire property at Grafton is beautiful and welcoming. From the fire pit to the breakfast room. The owners are sweet and very friendly and the breakfast is superb! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again."

"The cabin was well maintained . Temps dropped during the week and heat was not a problem. Hot tub was able to keep good temps even in the evening. Lake access is not a benefit at this point . Hopefully lake will return to it's past glory. All in all a great stay. "
