"Keepers Cottage is the perfect romantic getaway. It is tucked away in a quiet cove with an amazing view of the mountains. It is super clean, beautifully updated and Judy went above and beyond stocking everything you need. We really enjoyed the convenient location to Chimney Rock State Park, Chimney Rock Village and Lake Lure. There is also a fantastic grocery store and a fun challenging escape room all within a few minutes of the cottage.From Chimney Rock we were able to see the forever changed landscape of the lake and river below. We were able to walk a beautiful trail to the base of magnificent 400' Hickory Nut Falls and later eat at our favorite restaurant in Chimney Rock Village by the river. One day we ate in Lake Lure overlooking the continuous hard work recovering from the Helene destruction.It was the perfect place to celebrate our 46th anniversaryspending time together, enjoying God's creations and being inspired by the perseverance and resilience in the healing of this special place and it's people. We absolutely are looking forward to coming back in the future.Rhonda and Charlie"

"We were very happy with this house- fantastic view and tons of room for 6 retired ladies on their annual ladies trip. We met the host Gwen who gave us some great recommendations and also quickly fixed a minor issue. We enjoyed the restaurants in Lake Lure. GreyHawk and Lured had great outdoor spaces and food. All of us agreed (no small feat for six 60 ladies) that we will return to Lake Lure next year and to this house!"

"Very cute modern log cabin. I am very happy to say i saw a couple dusty web strands but no bugs/spiders at all! The cabin is modern as in well sealed and insulated from temperature and noise and bugs. The wood work inside is absolutely beautiful! And the air conditioning worked great. Roomy, spacious, and worked out well for us. Main floor is a master bedroom with attached bathroom and two more bedrooms wirh a common full bath. There is also a nice recreation room downstairs with a foosball table, pool table, ping pong table and hockey table along with couches and lots of windows. It also has a dock although at the moment the lake is drained. That created no issue for as we weren't there for the lake but something to be aware of until its dealt with. It also has a barbecue and dining table outside and the cabin is fully stocked with utensils including BBQ.All in all a great relaxing 'base camp for us and i would highly recommend. "
