Welcome to Edgar Lake George Winery, situated at one of the oldest wineries in the Canberra District. Where you can spend your holiday wine-tasting, watching sunsets, and stars at night rise above the Mystic Lake George. The ideal tiny house NSW retreat for vacationers to enjoy wine tasting, meet local animals, and more.
For those keen on a sunrise, we have a hiking trail that heads up to the mountain ridge and a "grape picking season," which guests are welcome to join.
The Space:
Edgar Lake George Winery is set high above the winery overlooking the Shiraz and sweeping views of Lake George. It is the perfect family staycation at Lake George with a queen-sized bed that sleeps 2 persons.
A cozy 155-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment (e.g., such as portable cooker, cookware, cooking utensils, cutlery, dishes & silverware), microwave, and a mini fridge. This includes excellent bathroom facilities, such as a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for your use.
If you plan to spend your tiny house NSW retreats here, we advise that you bring your basic necessities such as food and water during your stay with us. Thank you.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please advise that there are 2 tiny houses on this property, which are also rented out about 8 meters away. So expect some company from other guests as some areas are shared. If you want to book in groups, please contact your land host 24 hrs in advance to make arrangements.

Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas.
The Neighborhood:
The property sits in a small town next to Lerida Estate which opens 7 days a week, and short 10 km drive from the town of Collector. Where you can explore restaurants, cafes, wineries, and activities. So, make an endless list of things to do and come visit Lake George Winery.
Getting Around:
By car: 30 min drive from Canberra
2.30 min drive from Sydney
By public transport: You can catch an UBER or Taxi out to the Winery, approximately at $100
Other Things to Note:
- Mobile reception is good
- No smoking allowed on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Breakfast is available at an extra cost of $40 per person
- Menu options include cereal, yogurt, and seasonal fruits

- Please keep in mind that some areas are shared, such as the BBQ grill, chairs, etc.
- Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- Pets need to be kept on leash at all times as livestock is present on the property
- We have an outdoor seating area at our restaurant, Westering, which can be used by the guests who bring their pets along
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Safety Guidelines
- We advise guests to keep an eye on children inside as the stairs to the loft is quite steep
- Guests with infants are recommended to bring their own portable travel cot during their stay

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Please report any damages or breakages inside or outside the property 24 hours before your departure
- There is another tiny house on this property which is also rented out, so expect some company from other guests
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our compost toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
