"I think it really is an old motel rehabbed like on an HGTV show. They did a good job, and the location is amazing, and rooms are comfy. I'd visit again anytime. Bring ear plugs if you are near the front desk, people chat in the front and in the basement lounge, they are entitled too, just l am sensitive to sound. "

"This property is currently under renovations and I am looking forward to seeing the renovations done to see the new updates. We have stayed here numerous times and I love the staff the location. Everything is walkable. I have never had a bad stay at Stowe Flake. They have a great gym with plenty of equipment indoor and outdoor pool. I will definitely stay here again."

"Exceeded our expectations. We had the King Suite, with super cute decor and stand alone bathtub. The lodge was clean, comfy, and felt very safe. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and fire pit. There was also complimentary grab and go breakfast and coffee, as well as an espresso machine. The front desk staff was super friendly and accommodating."

"Excellent location in Stowe, Vt. Close to everything. I had a first floor room with patio. All I had to do was walk past the lawn and I was able to walk the Stowe recreation trail. The rooms were gorgeous inside with nice details I would not see in a hotel. The only downside is there are no elevators or free breakfast. Bring a camping grill and place on patio if you want to cook. Close to all local attractions including two covered bridges, alchemist for brewery tour and the village of Stowe. "
