"It is a real privilege to stay in a castle. It is stunning; the interior courtyard is cool and a great place to enjoy breakfast, cocktails or just read a book. "The reason for the terrible rating is - No meal at the Hotel so I ask the reception where I could eat, they pointed me in the direction of a local bar. Had something to eat there at 21:00hrs and by 23:00hrs I was having terrible stomach pains. (before eating at this bar I had had a continental breakfast before leaving the ship at Bilbao) By 02:00hrs diahorrea makes an appearance. "Very clean and spacious room. We were travelling with two small dogs and the staff made them very welcome, providing beds and water bowls for both. Excellent value, we booked the same hotel for our return trip!"
