"We had a great stay at Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana with our toddler. The resort is beautiful, the grounds are gorgeous, and the pools were a highlight. We especially appreciated how family-friendly and attentive the staff was; traveling with a little one can be challenging, but we felt very well cared for. Service was a standout. Special thanks to Oscar, Cristofer, Wander, and Johnny at the bars, Lemuel by the pool, and Ramon, an amazing waiter. Their friendliness and attentiveness made our stay even better. There are a few areas for improvement. We would have loved more Dominican culture through local music, food, traditions, and flavor, along with more afternoon and evening entertainment. Given the price, we also expected more luxury in the room, including premium pillows. The beach had significant sargassum during our visit, though we understand that is beyond the hotel’s control. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would consider returning. It is a great family resort with beautiful surroundings and exceptional staff; adding more local culture and entertainment would make it even better."
