"We really loved our stay, the rooms are big and clean. The owners are very lovely people. Location is perfect. Just a couple of minutes walk and you are in the centre. We could park our car near the hotel on the road. I'm in a wheelchair and the living room, bedroom and balcony are big. There are no bumps. The bathroom is small. I can walk a little bit, so I had no problem with it. But there is no room for the wheelchair in the bathroom.."

"I absolutely love my time there as well as the restaurant and the owner! The property has insane views and the property is so inviting and relaxing that it was so hard to want to leave the property but do recommend checking out the Plaka above as well as enjoying Almyrida for the beach and a seafood dinner next ti the ocean. The owner Esmerelda is amazing and dad built the property many years ago when there were no others in the area. I was solo and had a great time and already recommending it to all my friends considering traveling here, especially those in relationships since it has a very intimate vibe perfect for honeymoons and such!"

"We stayed 7 September for 10 days and it was 2 of us, no children.This is a lovely villa that has the bennefit of natural shade and cooling with its design and shutters, as well as air conditioning. Although the pool is shared between the 2 other villas on the plot, this was not a problem and it was easy to find time to use it without anyone else. The pool itself is lovely and very well maintained.The host is very good with communication and very thoughtful of guest experince.Plaka is not too far away and can be walked to - but it does involve a decent hill on the way home.Easy to get to from the airport and Almyrida is really close for beach, shops and restaurants,although Plaka has 2 supermarkets and tavernas - our favourite was Elpis -really friendly, great portiins and very well cooked traditional dishes."

"Villa Andromeda is exactly how it looks in the pictures and how the other reviewers have described. The road to and from the property is fine apart from a twenty metre section where you have to be especially careful - we managed fine in two normal front wheel drive manual hire cars for a party of eight. Robert has found a great team of hosts - led by Angelina who look after everything for you. They even went as far as improving that small part of the road leading to the villa for us! The location and the villa are truly amazing with the most beautiful sunset we’ve ever seen. There are plenty of lovely tavernas and restaurants nearby with lots of local supermarkets that are reasonably priced and stock so many options. So you can get the best of both worlds - complete solitude in the most beautiful setting or sample typical Greek traditional offerings. The old town in Chania is a must visit and we’d also recommend hiring a boat for half a day - we did both self drive and a captained private catamaran which were both awesome."
