Wonderful stay at Areti Suites.

We arrived in the early hours after a much delayed flight to a very warm & cheerful welcome! Our room was lovely with a fantastic terrace overlooking the pool. Breakfast was tasty. We certainly would love to return here!

Stayed for a one night stay before moving on to a villa. Arrived late and was greeted by a lovely lady, was able to get a lovely fresh cooked pizza. Room was clean and had everything we needed, breakfast was great.

The place was very nice, thought the rollout bed was (as they all are, I suppose) lumpy and hard. But the main problem was that there was no food withing walking distance other than the breakfast served at the place and as snack bar there, so be prepared to drive, at night, in very dark roads, about 10 minutes to a decent restaurant (and the one we picked was mediocre).

Areti Suites is conveniently located near the Chania airport on Crete, and it was a delight. The room was clean and very comfortable, located on the ground floor right by the pool, which I used as soon as I awoke the next morning. And breakfast was ample and nutritious, with the option of sitting outside. Lovely experience all around.

Stayed for a one night layover. It’s about a 5-10 minute drive from the airport. Our room was clean and service was exceptional. Food was fairly limited and the surrounding area is a little rough around the edges, but was otherwise an enjoyable stay.

Surprisingly welcoming and clean

We booked one night stay the night we arrived in Crete. It was above the expectations: beautiful and clean room, 1am we were allowed to sit outside and chat with other guest. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was included as well. We would definitely come back if landing in Chania again.

A great hotel if you either have a car or need to be by the airport. It is about 25 minutes from the old city, but not a terrible drive. The staff were extremely friendly. We had an issue with the drain being clogged when we arrived but they had someone there to fix it within 5 minutes. The breakfast was fairly good and there was a lot of parking.

A very convenient location to get to the Chania airport for about 15 to 18 euros. Complimentary breakfast was outstanding. Be aware that rooms on the upper floors require walking up a marble winding staircase (no elevator). The friendly helpful staff are willing to help with your luggage if you ask. Overall a great place for an overnight.

Great Price and Proximity to the Airport

The Areti Hotel was a great stay for the price. Great for a vacation spot or overnight stay waiting for flight. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. We were the only guest for breakfsst, but they set up as if they had sevaral guests. There isn't much close by, but the will order delivery service for you. We were there during off season, so the pricing was very affordable, but not much was available. I highly recommend for an all around great stay!

Front desk gal was so sweet and helpful! There when we checked in and also early the next morning to see us off, she even made us a little breakfast to-go as we were headed to the airport before serving time. Note: this place is "out there" in the midst of no where but a perfect stop for convenience to the airport (5-10 mins) They will also order food to be delivered from local restaurants if desired as getting around at night isn't really an option. We had great pizza & salad from Gustavo's:)

Gorgeous property in the tiny village of Kathiana just 5 minutes from Chania airport. Too nice to stay just one night before flight home next day. Very clean and very friendly staff. Beautifully designed and decorated suites. Left before breakfast served but the staff made sure we had tea and coffee to go. It should be noted that it is in the middle of nowhere but that is part of the charm. Ordered take out pizza that was excellent. Highly recommend especially before a flight out.
