FULLY REMODELED BEACH HOUSE CONDO WITH A/C. Unit 441 is a quiet ground level GARDEN VIEW unit with a new A/C. It is located in Kiahuna Resort in Building 42. This condo has vaulted ceilings and a private lanai overlooking the garden. It provides a comfortable space to call "home" while you’re on Kauai. Unit 441 is a short walk to the beach, Poipu Beach Athletic Club, restaurants, swimming pool, and more! Additional amenities include membership to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club, 24 hour security, complementary towels and chairs for the beach and swimming pool, internet access and more. Parking is FREE and is located directly in front of the building making it easy to bring in your luggage or groceries. The bedroom has a comfortable king size bed to ensure a good night's rest and a 32" inch SMART TV to stream your favorite movies or television series. The bathroom has a double vanity along with a walk in shower. Soaps, shampoo and conditioner are provided. The living room is complete with a queen size sleeper sofa to accommodate 2 extra guests and a 50" SMART TV. The new A/C unit cools the entire condo but its recommended you close all the louvered windows when running the A/C. Or you can open up the louvered windows and enjoy the cooling Kauai trade winds! The resort offers an on site laundry facility along with community BBQ areas. Check-in is at 3:00 pm and check-out is at 11:00 am at Outrigger front desk. This is located near the west entrance to the property. Once you are in the property you will take the first road to the right and the front desk is at the bottom of the road. Once at the front desk you will be provided with a door code, towel cards, and internet password. There will be a $35 charge at checkout for stays of 8 to 10 nights which includes new towels, linens, trash service, and vacuum. Stays of 11 to 15 nights will have a $60 full service cleaning during your stay which will be paid at check out. If you are checking in after 8 PM you will need to let the Outrigger front desk know. Friendly staff. Property is gorgeous. This is a bit of a walk to the beach or pool complex but the price seemed sufficiently adjusted for that. And you’re in Kauai so enjoy the scenery. This is personal preference but the bed was not my favorite. It was like the worst of both worlds right between soft and hard. The pillows could use replaced, they were all close to flat. Everything else was pretty great :)
We stayed in this condo in January 2025 and we loved everything about it! Walkling distance to the beach and very close to nearby shopping. We would definitely stay at this location again if it were available!
Besides our rental confirmation not being sent to the property manager, everything about the property was great. We loved the pool, the place, the proximity to the beach, and would love to stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay in this sweet one-bedroom condo. The condo is well-equipped and very comfortable, with everything you may need for your beach vacation. The condo complex is close to the beach and also a very fine pool/recreation center. We hope to visit again.
My husband and two kids (2) and (4) stayed here for a week. It was absolutely the best. We had plenty of space, both beds were comfortable. We utilized the kitchen quite a bit, well stocked and had everything we needed. There was a soft sided cooler and beach chairs with an umbrella which was so convenient not to have to purchase anything. It was quiet and comfortable and perfect for our week away. We would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay at this property managed by the Outrigger. The air conditioning was great and made the stay comfortable as the weather was quite warm during our stay. We did use the pool and the hot spa across the road (a 2 minute drive from the apartment) to help with my back pain. Poipu beach is also nearby where you can see the green turtles rest on the beach in the evenings.Leoda's pies is a great place for yummy pies and dessert for lunch.I would recommend and stay again when visiting Kauai.
The location of this condo is beautiful (Kiahuna Plantation Resort). We loved the beach area — very pretty — with the lawn area for chaise loungers where we watched surfers every day. The sandy area below the lawn was perfect for families.
The condo itself was quiet and nicely appointed. We liked the private deck where we didn’t have to see our neighbors.
My husband and I were on our honeymoon and the place was perfect. The complex is immaculate with friendly staff. The beach was at the end of the complex and it was much less crowded than most of the other beaches. There is a small shopping center across the street with gift shops, a great, small breakfast cafe, dining options and gelato. The large athletic club is also across the street with a fantastic pool which is open to guests. Great coffee shop with breakfast food across the street but be prepared for a long wait which you won’t regret.
I liked the new feel of everything. They did a good job remodeling. I’ve stayed in other KP units that were dated and not clean. I also like the private feel of the lanai on this one. It looks at the lush landscaping and no one can see in. Parking was convenient as was the access to fitness center, pool, and beach.
Had a wonderful stay here, would highly recommend. Very comfortable, clean and great location. The only things we would recommend for the condo is a makeup / skincare mirror for the bathroom, and adding a memory foam pad to the master bed. The wireless door lock glitched the first day, we called it in, and it was fixed immediately. However, we kept getting calls about when can we come in to fix the door lock. Perhaps the wireless connection all together is not communicating properly.Thank you so much, would LOVE to return.
This condo was perfect for our family. Our daughter slept on the pullout - which was probably the most comfortable pullout we have used. The condo had everything we needed for our stay. Parking was extremely close and made it very easy to run things to and from the car. The patio was completely private - we enjoyed breakfast outside just about every morning.
Kitchen was well equipped. I was able to make morning smoothies with the blender. Coffee maker is a Keurig pot and single cup.
Would definitely stay again.
We couldn’t ask for anything more! Quick response to the only one question we had, everything was perfect with one small exception, more blankets provided if you need. Definitely staying again, I wouldn’t change a thing except for more pillows and blankets if you need!
The condo was in a great location, was very well stocked with equipment, and the area is very quiet. Just what we needed. My ONLY complaint is the bed was very hard. My husband and I both like firm mattresses but this was too firm. The bedding and pillows were fine but after a week, we’re looking forward to a change. The host was very welcoming and available. We had no issues. I do want to let him know a few times are coming up in the shower floor that need to be addressed. Just maintenance. Thank you so much!
