Five Bed, Five Bath Tropical Paradise With A/C, Hot Tub, & Beach Walk

Experience old Hawaii in this beautifully restored home, featuring classic vintage elements like hardwood flooring and redwood paneling, combined with modern amenities, including updated bathrooms, chef’s kitchen, air conditioning, smart TVs, and a reliable mesh WiFi system.

The Aloha House offers plenty of space to gather with family and friends. The main house comes with 4 master bedrooms (1 king, 3 queens), each with their own private, full bathroom–all recently renovated. There’s also a queen-size aero bed for additional travelers.

Out back, behind the main house, you will find the ohana/cottage. This charming getaway comes with 1 bedroom (king), 1 bathroom, mini kitchen, and a living area with pull-out queen-size sofa bed.

Adjacent to the cottage, a small bonus “office” building is the perfect place for telecommuting or playing video games and watching movies on the large screen smart TV.

The garage has been tastefully converted to a game room, outfitted with ping pong table, bar area, ice maker, and comfy lounge furniture.

And let’s not forget the 6-person hot tub at the center of it all. What a great place to soak, as you look up at the palm trees and the stars.

The Aloha House is located a short 5-minute walk to the fabulous beach fronting the nearby Sheraton, and great snorkeling at adjacent Koloa Landing.

Enjoy the ever-present sound of Waikomo Stream, which rushes by into a waterfall across the street. Catch magnificent sunsets along the beach wall, then stroll to dinner and nearby upscale shopping at the Shops at Kukui‘ula.

We promise you will not be disappointed as you “live Aloha” in this unique Poipu sanctuary.

Family Fun!

Stayed 4 nights with 9 of us. All families had their own room or ‘house’ and bathroom. Great for a large group. Close to snorkeling (one block) and walk or short drive to beaches.

The property was beautiful, clean and convenient. It accommodated our entire family and we did not feel cramped. It was well supplied with cooking implements, linens and beach items etc. The location was very convenient. Overall we were extremely pleased and would stay there again! The only reason that I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was due to a plumbing issue that could not be resolved during our stay. Communication and attempt to resolve the matter was timely.

Lovely spot for families

We really loved our time here and would highly recommend. It's extremely walkable to a swim/snorkel spot, sunsets every night, and a shopping area. The house is lovely, especially the landscaping. It was a great spot for our big family to gather and chill. There is also a large variety of beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, snorkel gear, etc. which was clutch. So grateful for the memories made here.

The Aloha House is Hawaii

The four bedrooms each with its own bathroom made this house perfect for our group. The additional cottage was a huge bonus. The location and quality of the house makes it a go to house every time I visit Kauai.

Great for large groups!

I stayed here with 3 generations of my family and we all enjoyed it. Nice kitchen, many bathrooms, and the kids enjoyed having their own space in the guesthouse. Ping pong table, boogie boards, beach toys, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and passes to the Athletic were all appreciated and used! Poipu beach was 3 minutes away, so we loved popping over there each day for snorkeling and turtle viewing. We would stay here again!

Gorgeous Aloha House

This property is breathtaking inside and out. We enjoyed the hot tub and game room in the evenings. Coffee on the front and back lanai. This beautiful home is so close to everything in Poipu, beaches, snorkeling and the historic town of Koloa. We walked to the Sheraton to catch a sunrise and saw turtles in the waves. The Athletic club was a great time for all, pool with slide and amazing pulled pork nachos, pina coladas and Mai Tais! There were also several nearby markets. Had such an amazing time. Mahalo till next time

Wonderful accommodations

Family stay at the Aloha House

My family of 11 people spent a wonderful week in Koloa at the Aloha House. The house was everything in the VRBO listing. There are 4 bedrooms in the main house, each with it's own bathroom including a shower. The cottage behind the house included a bedroom, sofa bed and bath. The kitchen was decent size and well equipped. We were impressed with the location of the house. Walking distance to beach and shopping center with nice stores and restaurants. It was a pleasure spending our week in Kauai at the Aloha House.

Wonderful property

This was a wonderful property. It was located close to so many attractions that we enjoyed, which allowed us to stay in the area without feeling the need to venture out beyond the Poipu area. The home was spacious and well appointed with awesome support from the staff. Vicky our host, made sure we could get into the property easily. They helped us get additional equipment we needed such as a playpen and a shower chair. We would definitely stay here again. The location was close to many activities that we enjoyed, especially the Poipu Athletic Club.

Kauai Vacation with Family

The house is nice but it could be a little cleaner. The kitchen was a bit dirty and it could use new pans (worn out frying pans). The covers and floors needed a good cleaning. The traffic noise was heavy. Also, the small adjacent cottage had a large avocado tree above and the avocados fell on the roof and made a very loud noise. Enough to wake everyone up when it happened.

Extended Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house worked great for 10 people ranging in ages from 5 to 85. We rented both the main house and the cottage and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax. The kids/young adults quickly claimed the cottage and game room as their hang outs. Poipu365 was great to work with and they were responsive to our needs and requests both before and during our stay. Although the house looks great and met our needs there are a few minor things that could be improved, such as lighting but nothing major. It was nice to be within walking distance of shops and small beaches. As with most of the island there are roosters which like to make a lot of noise, even in the middle of the night. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, etc. The house had beach equipment that we could use. In case you are travelling with someone who has mobility concerns it should be noted that there are a few stairs to get into the house and all the showers and bathtubs have to be stepped into. We all enjoyed this house and it was a great part of our vacation.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We paid almost $15,000 for 8 adults to sleep on 4 very very MEDIOCRE house in a good location. If that wasn't enough to make you think about the house, be prepared for the various ROOSTERS all over the property and nearby properties. Impossible to sleep 2am - 10am EVERY SINGLE DAY. Although Cockroaches are a known commodity in all tropical areas it did add to the discomfort everyone felt. Other than those issues, the house is spacious, well equipped, safe, and comfortable. We felt like for that much money they could have had comfortable beds, nice sheets and bedding, & controlled the animals in the area. No one wants to go on vacation and not be able to sleep.

Property is in a great location for beach, golf, shopping and trips to other Kauai activities. Nicely maintained with most all amenities included. We booked the house and cottage for our family of 12 and enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommend this property !

Excellent family gathering place

Great location near shops and beaches, many within walking distance. Every bedroom well equipped with its own bath. Lots of wonderful outdoor gathering places with front and back porches, hot tub and game room.
