There are 2 nice things about the resort, the view and the village behind.
Unlike what you may think based on reviews and the price you have to pay for a stay, this is far away of being a 5 star resort. Our accommodation was old, service is ok, but not more. Employees are not trained for 5 star service. Food is mediocre. In general, the hotel sells an experience, but does not deliver.
I cannot imagine that the management is not aware of the situation. In Asia and Thailand you can find lots...

If you ordered a private boat trip the boat will pick you up just in front of your villa- it’s really a gorgeous experience. "Nice ourdoors area with big and fun pools. Super close to the beach with the best sunset. The staff is very polite and helpful. But overall the rooms are outdated, with a very strong smell of cleaning supplies. The aircondition is old and pointing directly at the bed, so we ended up with a bad throat infection the first day here (but 3rd week in Thailand). Talked to other guest who had experienced the same. "
