We received a warm welcome at check-in and our rooms appeared to be perfect - good sized beds, great air con and views over the pools and the adjacent beach/sea.
However, our good impression died rapidly after dark when several open air bars approximately 750 m from the hotel played extremely loud bassy music until the early hours of the morning, which interfered significantly with our ability to sleep almost as much as the rock hard beds and the objects that identify as pillows.
The following morning, we discovered that the shower drain didn't really work too well and the buffet style breakfast was disappointing.
The next day, we used the pool which had a pool bar. Although the pool had a jacuzzi section but no bubbles and the pool bar wasn't 'set up' to sell any drinks either.
The staff at the hotel are all lovely people and the hotel is perfectly located for easy access to the ferry, shops, cafes, resto's, beaches etc, but for us the nighttime noise and rock hard beds would stop us from going back there.
