It's on the edge of a busy part of the island. The rooms are simple. They get cleaned regularly, and for the price, it's great. It's walkable to almost anywhere. It's quiet at night, and the staff is eager to help you in anyway

I booked a fan room and the room was terrible all broken and no hot water for shower on website they show photos of air condition room and i paid 850 bath for every night area near you can find with that price aircondition room

Shocking the day we arrived a guest checking out said that the water made him ill from showering me bring me thought that can’t be true must have drank some only to come down with a serious illness for two days and moved resorts due to the dirty shower water

The hotel was ok but not fantastic. The rooms are humid, no cleaning during 3 days, the mattresses are really hard and the walls are pretty thin so you here your neighbourhood partying every night. The price was ok but pretty sure you can find better.

The customer service was great but the cleanliness of the room, bathroom, sheets, and towels left much to be desired. The sheets and towels looked worn and stained from use. The bathroom and shower are combined so everything gets wet when you shower. There’s no hot water, not like you’d want a hot shower in a tropical island in a room with no air conditioning. Opening and shutting the door of the first room I was given upstairs was near impossible so I asked for a different room and the staff immediately accommodated me without any issues. The staff are beautiful, helpful, and friendly but the rooms are underwhelming. The hotel suggests that you leave no valuables in your room and they have lockers outside for you to use but you need to have your own padlock. The location is great, you’re close to the main beaches and bars, about a four minute walk, but far away enough to have no noise! You’re also right next to the Phi Phi lookout point. Overall, this place is ok to stay at for a couple of nights but I wouldn’t recommend it for any longer.

It was just ok. We booked as there were decent reviews so we had a place to stay our first night. Did some hunting and found a nicer room with a better bed and a mini fridge for 150b less and went there. Nothing wrong with the place, but boots on the ground I found a better deal elsewhere.

Best of a bad bunch in Koh Phi Phi. We enjoyed the outside seating area and the air comfort of the air conditioning, but overall found the room to be rather tired. Particularly disappointing was the musty smell inside. However, the location was excellent, if a little noisy on the ground floor as people walked past late at night.

Nice room, fairly quiet, great location and staff
The hotel was basic, but clean, comfortable, and well kept. The staff is very, very helpful and welcoming. The area is just far enough away from the bars and restaurants to be quiet most of the time, but still easy access to everything. It was not the fault of the hotel, but it was very loud one night because other guests. All told if we go back to Phi phi later in our trip we would definitely stay here again.

DO NOT BOOK this hotel. Dirty and smelly.
I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s not worrh your money. Very dirty hotel. Toilet not flushing. Dirty bedsheets and towels. Very unpleasant smell in and out of the hotel. Location is dirty. Very poor and smelly surroundings.

For the Price this place was good. We stayed here three or four nights (I can’t remember). It’s relatively clean for a hostel on phi phi. It’s safe, good location, just far enough from the main strip that you actually sleep at night.

Pleasant stay at Coco’s. Check in was quick and easy, staff were friendly and spoke really good English. Free water bottle upon check in. Room was spacious, private bathroom and there was a fan. Location was good for us as it’s set back from the main road, meaning it was quieter when it came to sleeping! About 10/15 minute walk from the ferry. Downside would be cold showers and no ac. We also extended our stay three times and they didn’t make us change rooms which was really helpful! Would recommend.

Unfortunately this is one of the worst hotels i’ve stayed in during a lot of travelling. There are a few positives however unfortunately these were hugely outweighed by negatives. POSITIVES- lovely friendly reception staff, free welcome water and cold wipe cloth on arrival, hotel close to bars/shops/restaurants/beach all in 5-10 minutes but location still quiet. That’s about the only positives. NEGATIVES- door not long enough for height and holes in bathroom wall so insects come into the room (lizards!!!, spider the size of my palm and countless mosquitos and ants) I was terrified!, bathroom is built on septic tank so it smells so badly of sewage all day in the entire room (i couldn’t bare to be in the room at all except sleep), no hot water in the shower, the whole place seems dirty because it is so run down and old there is marks on everything and the insects dont help, sheets had stains on, i felt dirtier showering in the bathroom than not showering at all!, WiFi is also very bad and intermittent, I had to go to local cafes to make travel bookings or facetime relatives because it is so slow. Overall I had quite an uncomfortable stay and I was very glad to leave. If you can I would recommend you stay somewhere else (I’ve heard similar properties in the price range are better). Thanks to the reception staff for always being so friendly and greeting us when we walk past though!

Pros:Coco's Guest House was great value for the money paid. It was close enough to the "party beach" but far away enough as well to avoid all the extra noise. The check in was easy, we were able to check in earlier, the staff was very friendly. Cons: the bed was very hard -which I disnt mind because it was perfect for my back but my friend found it uncomfortable. The sheets were very tin, we had to lower the AC to make sure we werent cold. Other than that it was great

Fantastic stay!
Our stay at Coco’s was great! The location is good, and the room is perfect for a place to stay on a budget. The reception staff are also so informative and attentive to your needs, my friend was ill so we had to extend our stay, they made this so easy for us to do. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else on the island, Phi Phi itself is also fab!

Comfortable air-conditioned room, affordable
Check in was easy and the beautiful lady owner was very kind towards us throughout our stay. The room was basic and had everything we needed. The air conditioning wasn't very strong but at least there was so. I would suggest paying a bit more for an air conditioned room especially on the hot island. There are many mosquitoes at night which can be frustrating. Like some comments on hotels.com, the water from the tap has got some sulfur/egg smell, and I suspect that it is the same on the whole island. It was fine by us and we actually enjoyed the hot shower. This hostel is about 10-15 mins walk from tonsai pier, but a bellboy helped us with our luggages to and fro using a pushcart commonly used on the island (no cars allowed, pushcart is probably the best you can get). Remember, a small tip goes a long way! Would love to stay here if I'm back at phi phi islands!

You get what you pay for
The price was good and they were very nice but that was about it. Bed and pillow were rock hard, they only clean the room every other day, no hot water in the shower, other guest were super loud at all hours of the night.

Stayed one night on island and this place was satisfactory. The shower hung over the toilet, so everything gets wet. Water had a smell to it and was cold, no hot water valve. This place was inexpensive and removed from the loud bars so very quite and easy to sleep.

I hope gets better in future
I want firstly say that the owner is really nice and she is there to help u with what she can . The place overall is good for a budget , there are certain details that are worth mentioning . On this website mention there is shower on the fan room but doesn't mention that is with only cold water . The room is quite basic , with the normal toiletries for the day . I found the mattress very hard ,I couldn't sleep much. I would suggest to invest in repairing or changing them . I understand that after the COVID many places still needs to recover their economy,just pointing some important things are in need. The mosquito net was a bit broken,so sometimes they entered,we blocked it with the courtains. And the bathroom was very humid and had damp smell . I guess that's normal in an island as is not the first time I found this problem in the south of Thailand ,just make sure to close the door. I think this place has potential for the future if they make some good changes ( clear colours for the walls and sheets for example would change a lot the atmosphere),a heater and the mattress thing . Thanks anyways .

Buena ubicación para un par de días
Por lo que pagamos hubiera esperado algo mejor, pero entiendo que en general la relación calidad-precio en la isla es así. La habitación estaba limpia y la ubicación era buena, sin embargo para llegar con maletas desde el muelle puede resultar agotador, son como 15min caminando. La cama no era firme y se podían sentir algunos resortes del colchón, el servicio fue muy bueno.

Worst accomodation ever. When I arrived I was told that I should be mistaken. I gave the lady my passport to check the reservations. She said there was no booking under my name. I showed her the screen picture I took with my cell and she said it was from that guest house indeed but that that reservation did not arrive to her. She told me to ring the agency or go to the police for help!!!! She kept on asking me silly things as the booking reference number or the time when I booked online. She was so rude and did not want to collaborate or listen at all. I told her that I could not make calls and that that was her responsability to fix things up. Only when she accepted to make the call -but she told me that I should talk to the agency, not her- she told me to seat down on a chair which, coincidentally, was in front of the computer screen. While the lady kept on making calls and checking the computer system, I could see by chance my name. The reservation was there, she never bother to check, it was the most pathetic situation. All the trouble and argueing because of such luck of professionality and manners. She tired to justify the situation as being not fluent enough in English which was so lame since her rude attitude was there from the beginning and all she had to do was so simple. She admitted afterwards she did things wrong and apologised. Offered two small bottles of water (something she did to other guests as well) and that was all. No intention to compensate in any way.

Völlig in Ordnung!
Wir fanden die Unterkunft völlig in Ordnung. Für den Preis darf man keinen Luxus erwarten und in Thailand gilt nun mal nicht europäischer Standart. Die Lage war gut. Weit genug weg vom Trubel und den lauten Partys. Aber nah genug an allem dran. Ich würde es weiterempfehlen!
